Yes thanks Jack I rang the people in Abergele but they had scanned for the chip again and found the owners. thanks for thinking of Ernest though!

Did 200 flyers and dropped door to door in Bishampton yesterday, got another 200 being printed to collect shortly. Thanks to Cartridge World Evesham for doing them at cost price!!
Jack
Have just seen a share of similar looking dog found in Abergele, 19th Dec but sex unknown. Is this the same one in Wales who has already been checked? The link was for Pets located site x

some possible sightings near Ragley Hall yesterday.

HEre is a list of all sightings with dates and times so far:

19/12 - Ragley estate field by main gate, cricket pitch - lone black dog rounding up sheep
18/12 - Evening - black working cocker going up drive to Kingley farm (but resident has a similar dog there)
- Lunchtime - 12.30 - 1pm black dog crossing road heading away from Ragley towards dunnington
6.30 am - Outside entrance to Smart Trees
17/12
- Evening - black dog seen in Evesham by Marco's restaurant crossing bridge and heading up Waterside (also black dog reunited with owner in Evesham on 18/12)
- 1.45 PM black dog (thought to be a labrador) crossing road near Hillers b4088/Alcester road heading in to woodland (road from Hillers to Abbots Morton, just after sharp left hand bend)
10.45 Am - dog looking like Ernest seen in Greenhill, Evesham.
16/12 - 10pm Ernest followed a chocolate lab along the footpaths at back of Moat Farm Lane Bishampton

15/12 - 9.15 am Redditch, Holloway drive - car hit a black lab or spaniel but dog ran off in to wooded area.
14/12 - Greenhill Evesham, dog- black with a white front- looked medium sized with longish wavy fur, and had a dog lead vest type holster. Just seen running down Greenhill towards town
13/12 - black and white spaniel approaches people, goes in to their kitchen, has some food - turns out to be Charlie BUT this helps us confirm that 9/12 and 16/12 at Moat Farm Lane ARE ernest due to very different behaviour of the dogs.
13/12 unknown time between 10-2 on road between evesham and norton B4088 a wet and bedraggled black long eared dog tried to cross the road but then went back
10/12 FALSE sighting - Twyford country park - turned out to be black and white collie.
10/12 10.45 am - black dog seen in woods near Bishampton - could be Ernest, could be Charlie. although lady who saw dog thinks Charlie would have approached her as she knows him.
9/12 - followed a chocolate lab along the footpaths at back of Moat Farm Lane 6pm ish
9/12 - also 6pm ish - black cocker drinking from a puddle near Ian's wood (very close to Moat Farm Lane, and also in the direction in which Moat Farm Lane reported he ran off to) Again the 13/12 episode with Charlie, confirms this may have been Ernest after all!
6/12 at 5am - seen Charlton village, near the green.
5/12 - possibly sighted near Church Bishampton
3/12 - 5-6pm Jubilee Walk Bishampton - 2 separate sightings - but also coincides with when Charlie from local farm was out and about.
1/12 - woods at back of Vale Golf course - bishampton bank 4.20pm
Lunchtime 12pm - seen running away from dog agility venue in broadview farm, Lenchwick, in to caravans next door.
early morning, near wood norton hotel -A44
7.30 am - black spaniel seen running in road, out of Evesham towards Chadbury Farm shop near Sankey Marina, Worcester Rd B4624

30/11- 4pm - spaniel dog seen coming out of hedge, running up lane, and crossing over in to hedge by Grove Farm Bishampton.
29/11 poss sighting off Low Road between Church Lench and Rous Lench - black dog running in fields
28/11 - Greenhill Evesham - seen going up drive in to orchards behind houses
27/11 Ernest lost whilst out walking near Jubilee Bridge, Fladbury
Jack
Sending positive vibes, everything crossed that Ernest will be found safe very soon. Wish we were nearer to help you search. I am an admin on a spaniel facebook group and will share again on there. There are a lot of other similar facebook groups with large group membership... might be worth you joining and sharing on some of those? I can provide a list of group names if you would like? X
rach and ernest
Thanks Hollie - it's such a big area but yes having a good look wherever we go!
Hollieberry
I am keeping my fingers crossed tightly for Earnest to be found soon. Spaniels are such a worry as they get caught in things so easy & go quiet when this happens .I have not read all the posts but have you checked all overgrown areas & bushes in the area ?
rach and ernest
Also investigating this post on facebook group

Black & White Spaniel found not far from Burton Lazars. Believed to have been taken to a vets in Melton Mowbray to be checked for a microchip.

‎Jane Sumner‎ to Lost and Found Pets in Rutland .

Spaniel just been picked up on Melton / Oakham road and he was heading towards Melton . I suggested vets to scan it. ...so if its Urs try Melton vets ..
rach and ernest
So we've had a frustrating couple of days - a couple of false sightings (turned out to be a collie) and a phone call to say someone had found him (turned out to be another similar dog who keeps escaping from a farm in Bishampton).
We have now discounted the Bishampton sightings as these were probably all this farm dog who kept getting out.
Yesterday we had a sighting during the day 10-2 (but not sure exactly when) of a wet, bedraggled black, long-eared dog trying to cross the road from Evesham to Norton/Harvington. Coming from lenchwick side, it went to cross and then turned back.

Also had a phone call today about a black cocker spaniel running down greenhill in Evesham but this dog may have been wearing a harness so possibly not Ernest.

Owmer has anyone given you scenting advice to help you get Ernest home. It might be worth contacting admin for help, scenting does work.
rach and ernest
some more positive news today - had a phone call from someone who thinks ernest is going to their property at night to sleep as their dogs are going beserk and security lights are being triggered - we;ve left his bed in their barn and they are setting up cameras too.
at 4pm today, someone else saw a wet black spaniel run across the road but he then ran off - this was not far from where he went missing or the place where we think he is sleeping.
Mollychops
