Great news everyone ! Harleys owner spotted Harley early this morning near the Pier but he was running fast and headed back to the area he first went missing. Helped by Peter one of our local helpers and a lady in one of the houses they managed to contain him and catch him in her garden
Welcome home Harley 😀

After meeting with one of the owners on the Thursday evening and doing a quick search I went back to the Lake area on Friday morning and walked up to Rockley Boat Park area and back again to lake, nothing seen of Harley, I also looked around hamworthy park and drove around all the roads in that area between hamworthy park and lake, I also asked a few dog walkers if they had seen him. Will probably go for a walk in that area on sunday so will keep an eye out for him. Hope he turns up soon.

A possible Sighting late afternoon of Harley still running but heading towards the heath by Lake Pier off Lake Drive. We have met with his owner family and friends and other searchers during the evening all along the route and searched best we could the heathland in the dark but no news this evening.
Intentions are to poster tomorrow if no news but hopefully someone has taken his safe this evening and will call the warden or take to a vets in the morning.
Thank you to everyone that has been helping search today

Harley was spooked by 3 larger dogs at Hamworthy Park at app 3.15 this afternoon and ran along Branksea Avenue in the direction of the Yachtsman Pub. Local warden and vets aware. He is chipped but to his previous owner who is aware he is missing. Advice already given to leave his blanket in a safe place where he ran from. His owner is currently out searching but at present has a very low battery on her phoneLast edited: 2016-12-01 18:52:00 by Gnasher - Area Co-ordinator, East Dorset
