What wonderful news - welcome home Jet! I wonder whether it was Kay or George, the caring Dog Wardens from Lewisham's Animal Welfare Service who were responsible for reuniting this lovely boy with his owners. I spoke to Kay several times whilst searching for another lost dog and found them to be so dedicated. Does anyone know? Once again, welcome home Jet and make the most of all the extra fuss and TLC!!!

Fantastic news - JET IS HOME!!!!!! He was found in Lewisham, taken to the Police Station who then called the dog warden. And thanks to being chipped, dog warden was able to reunite him with his owners. Wooo hoooo! He looked well so hopefully he has been treated okay whilst he's been missing. Another example of how crucial it is to have your dog microchipped (someone else has since contacted the dog warden claiming to have lost a staffie matching the same description that he has supposedly owned for 3 months.....if it wasn't for the chip then it could have been a different ending). Welcome home Jet, and I bet you're being spoilt rotten. Owner would like to pass on his thanks to everyone for their help and will be sending in a reunited photo.

Sadly the dog I have is not Jet. Owner informed. Jet has much more white the one I have has only a very small amount about the sixe of a 10p piece.

When i went to view the shar Pei at westend kennels there was a similar looking staffie there. Didn't notice if it was M or F though, sorry. Could be worth ringing them though just in case.

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Jet well. Stay safe Jet, and come home soon x
