Any news on Sandy? Another Rottie found on www.petserach.org.uk Bitch ? in season. Black & Tan. Good condition. Cropped tail. Could be 2-3 years old. No collar or microchip. Posted 21.11.07 and found in Brandsburton East Yorkshire. Good luck

Yes, I agree with you jaycee, that it is strange (especially in this 'day and age') that Sandy's owners presumably run their own business and yet they don't have access to the internet. Only hope and pray that this young, pregnant girly is safe.

Am I being over-cynical? Or does the same question raise itself to anybody else? It's almost a WEEK now since the last 'no Net access' - wouldn't you think that, by now, they could have found SOMEONE with a computer? I'm damned sure, if that was my dog, I'd be moving heaven and earth !!! Also - who DOESN'T have photos of their dog??? Very strange.

Jon @ zepthedep rottie rescue aware of dogs missing. They know wide range of people. I'm in touch couple of times a week. Some one must know where these dogs are & hope they speak out soon.x

Owner informed of the found one, they do not have internet access themselves....but they will find someone with it and call me this evening. Interestingly, the yard was broken into again last night.

If this dog was kept in a yard, whoever took it could only be someone the owner knew and had also broadcast the fact that the dog was thought to be pregnant - why else would they have taken a dog that was (thought) to be pregnant and not both of the dogs? Although that was quite foolish ,as if the girlie was thought to be 3 weeks pregnant through stress it will probably absorb the babies so what would they have gained.? Probaly not very intelligent people but I suppose that goes without saying I would ask of the effort to steal this dog was worth it but I suspect that the answer would be that the theives could not read. I was wondering if this could be someone who know the dog was pregnant, and also knew the dog may be owner should check out all the people that had come into there yard, assuming it is a yard that a lot of people go.

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Sandy well. Stay safe Sandy until you are home x
