- No news, reshared a new poster in the hope of any new info. Lots of people have been out searching for Ocho in the area Luna went missing - Ocho has been found today, so a good time to remind people of Luna.

- There are reports of a skinny black lab in the Spaxton and Ranscombe area of Somerset. There are no reported lost dogs in the area. It’s very nervous. We are trying to follow it up at the moment. Last edited: 2018-01-01 22:36:36 by Jenny B

- I believe she is much smaller than a Doberman, when she first was sighted bolting around Westbury people described her as a small lurcher. I think she is more whippet in size and description.

- It has been pointed out that due to her appearance, she may get overlooked when helpers are trying to cross match lost & founds. It may be worth owner checking through any Dobermans & lookalikes too that may be listed as found on here & also in kennels.

- Luna is behind door number 9 of the Doglost advent calendar. It is a year tomorrow that Luna went missing and it would be fab to get her home in time for Christmas xx

- Had a big push on social media (now have a twitter page open for Luna) but sadly no leads despite lots of sharing.

- Very much back to the drawing board with Luna. There have been no possible sightings since 1 June and the handful before have been hard to confirm. Taking a step backwards the areas which would be good to focus on are Fairwood Road area of Dilton Marsh and the area around Wiltshire Way and the Mead Lakes, Westbury.
- 2017-06-12 09:24 Jenny B
- Hoping to meet and flyer the area around Centre Parks this week, no more possible sightings x
The dog like Luna sighted on 1 June was also seen by another member of public half an hour earlier, there is some confusion about the colour of the collar but the description sounds very like Luna, but again can't be 100%.Last edited: 2017-06-12 09:27:12 by Jenny B - 2017-06-02 12:00 Jenny B
- Another possible sighting of a dog like Luna in the entrance of Centre Parks Longleat at 6pm last night. The dog was mostly black with tan legs and came from the Crockerton woods, another car stopped but they were unable to catch the dog and it trotted off into the woods. It had a bright coloured collar on, possible red and the lady thought she saw a tag. At the moment we are following it up as a possible sighting until we can rule it out x
- 2017-05-26 14:50 Jenny B
- Spent this morning in Brokerwood and have flyered the farms, gave some leaflets to some tour guides at The Country Park, left flyers at the church, pub, garden nursery and as many houses as possible in two hours - we spoke to quite a few people - no one has seen Luna or a dog like her and no one was aware of her. But they are very aware of her now x
- 2017-05-25 11:28 Jenny B
- Currently following up a dog matching Luna's description who has visited a farm in the Brokerswood area (BA11) on three occasions and has also been seen wandering around Rudge in Somerset. Maybe a local dog but it's skinny and without a collar. Reported to have been 'hanging around' for a while. Going to flyer the area tomorrow.
- 2017-04-21 00:38 Jenny B
- Thank you Jools32 - will make sure we get some posters down there. I have emailed bothe longleat and centre parks the Luna poster as well as the local parish to see if they will put the poster up in their area x
- 2017-04-20 11:34 jools32
- There's a new Bike Park opened recently at Longleat. Might be worth postering their car park between Longleat entrance and Heavens Gate because the place was teeming with cyclists at the weekend! They might have a good chance of spotting Luna if she is in the woods around there.
- 2017-04-19 20:09 Unknown
- Hope Luna is home soon. Pawsxd
- 2017-04-18 11:08 Jenny B
- Really need helpers in the area to poster, Tash is heading out there later and I have emailed posters to two local people who have offered to help. I have also re-emailed Longleat and Centre Parks x

- Another possible sighting two weeks ago on the A362 near Corsley Heath/Cley Hill area. She has been sighted here before around New Year. Very close to the Heaven Gate sighting on Sunday. Last edited: 2017-04-18 11:06:55 by Jenny B

- Great that these sightings are coming in, Luna will be living completely on her wits by now so will run as soon as she sees people. I hope she will settle in an area that is comfortable for her so that feed station etc can be set up.
- 2017-04-16 19:10 Jenny B
- Another sighting of a dog matching Luna's description in the wooded area by Heavens Gate between Longleat and Centre Parcs. Maybe a dog being walked but sighter said the dog appeared frightened and ran away from her dog - she couldn't see anyone else around and didn't hear anyone calling. This was just before 9am this morning.
- 2017-03-21 15:00 Jenny B
- There has been a sighting of a skinny black dog wandering along the pavements in Chapmansland at 9am this morning - trying to find out more info.

- Dog seen at Southwick country Park at 5.45pm. Large red collar easily seen. Was heading towards car park but turned off along the animal park fencing towards allotments. Moving at speed but at closest was about 10 m away.
- 2017-02-19 19:08 Jenny B
- Another possible sighting of Luna in the Steeple Ashton/Great Hinton area - a dog like Luna was seen running across a field on its own at around 5:30pm today. Last edited: 2017-02-19 19:08:59 by Jenny B

- We have had another possible sighting at the beginning of the week in the Penleigh, Dillon Marsh area around Westbury - sighter didn't know Luna was missing. It's been followed up but we still really need more sightings to come in. We haven't been able to confirm this sighting as of yet.
- 2017-02-05 23:43 Jenny B
- Luna is a Jura Hound, but could be mistaken for a lurcher, 2yrs old and micro-chipped. She bolted from an address she was staying at in the centre of Westbury on 10 Dec whilst her owner was away, and sighted many times in and around Westbury that evening and the next day Sunday 11 Dec she was seen heading towards Bratton across the fields above the Lower Westbury Road around 11am.
She was then sighted 17 Dec in Clanger Wood and then the next day (18 Dec) in a field close to the road which leads up to the White Horse Carpark from the Upton Scudamore side. (Photo of location below)
Since then we have had a run of possible sightings all which have been hard to confirm or rule out.
21 Dec Frome Road, Southwick (two sightings)
21 Dec Sherrington, Codford
24 Dec Fairwood Road, Penleigh
31 Dec Westbury Rd near Warminster Golf Course
2 Jan A36 Longleat roundabout and again on the Frome road A362 to Coresly Heath
The above sightings could all be Luna but we can't be 100% sure, so please if you have seen a stray Black and Tan dog in any of these area please contact us and give us details.
On Tuesday 25 Jan I visited the BP garage near Warminster (A36) and a lady told me someone had visited the petrol station on Sun 22 Jan and had said Luna had been seen on Friday 20 Jan but didn't disclose the location of the sighting, we really need to talk to this lady.
The recent sightings in Westbury have now all been ruled out sadly so Luna could be further afield.
Photo of location of last confirmed sighting is available on FB page 'find Luna' - 2017-01-31 14:11 Jenny B
- Just to update you that the Penleigh Sighting (sat 21 Jan) of Luna has more or less been excluded - managed to track down the other people who saw her and they are certain it wasn't Luna. The man who saw her on Warminster Road didn't notice the colour of her collar so hasn't been able to say, but I think he knows Luna and seemed certain it was her. So back to just one sighting of Luna in Westbury over the last 2 weeks.

Most sightings of Luna have been at the weekends which may mean she is being disturbed by more people out and about walking, or just more people around in the areas. Rural locations she has been sighted in are Clangers Wood, near the Church at Bratton, the track leading up to the White Horse car park from the Warminster side, Mead Lakes, and Penleigh. Possible sightings are also Fairwood road close to Brokerswood and the road to Coresly, although some of these sightings aren't confirmed and only possibilities. - 2017-01-25 22:41 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Such a shame this sighting has only just been reported but at least we know she is still safe and staying close.
Thank you for keeping us updated Jennyb.

- Luna has been sighted on Mane Way running off towards Fell Riad on Saturday 21 January at 2pm ish
- 2017-01-24 22:35 Jenny B
- More flyers handed out today - the garage on the A350 roundabout said a lady came in on Sunday saying she'd seen Luna 2 days earlier (Friday) - desperately trying to find out where she saw her.

- So much going on in the search for Luna, she has to be spotted again soon and then all plans can be set in motion again. Her owner and local volunteer worked so hard with feed station, drag scent to safe place etc. but then work started in the area and she decided to move on. At the moment it is not known where Luna may be, hence the renewed appeal for sightings. She is still likely to be fairly local but with so many possible hiding places it is impossible to know where to start so please, if seen please call the poster numbers as soon as possible with time, location and direction she is heading but DO NOT TRY TO CATCH OR CALL HER.

- More sightings of Luna are being reported almost daily at the moment and she appears to have settled in one area. Owners are following all advice given by Ray Dedicoat in similar situations, we just need public to resist calling or trying to catch her as this will just cause her to move on. Please just call the poster numbers if seen.

- * Sighting * of stray dog Frome Road, Southwick, BA14 today at 1350hrs. Witness was driving on the Frome Road towards Trowbridge when he saw an 'anxious' dog running around looking lost, seen going onto driveways, into gardens, then back onto the main road. Dog described as predominantly black with 'whippet' about it. On seeing a Doglost poster at the Westbury Health Centre witness believes the dog could possibly be Luna. Owner is aware.
