Debbie123, I saw a post yesterday on Viking Oaks FB page dated 5 March about a spaniel called Holly missing for 3 years and picked up in filthy condition by member of public in Gravesend late Feb about the same time Meg was found in Gravesend (same postcode). Holly was taken to the dog warden and on to Viking Oaks and was reunited. Wonder if she and Meg had been 'dumped' from the same thief?
Perhaps the police liaison coordinator could follow up. Lots of info about the circumstances including photo of delighted owners on the Viking Oaks FB page and comments from the member of the public who found her.

Meg was spayed - so no puppies thankfully - says Reunited in Feb not a few weeks ago shame Dog Lost weren’t made aware as could now be hard to find out about the other dog she was with ( esp if it had no chip - a rescue/pound can rehome a dog in 7 days if not claimed so let’s hope that wasn’t somebody’s stolen dog too) and not reunited because of a time factor - couldn’t see anything on fb

Wonderful news. So happy for her owners who must be elate to have their girl back home with them. Best to have dogs neutered, so these these dog thieves cant` breed from them to make a "Quick buck" Enough unwanted dogs, and puppies. Stay close now Pretty Meg:-) xxx

Great to see that this has now been Confirmed.
I suppose that poor Meg had been used as a Breeding Machine ? I HOPE I am incorrect.
I like to think that She & the other Dog had managed to escape .

Great news this one is reunited - Found straying with a 2nd dog - picked up by Gravesham council - taken to Viking oaks where scanned and chip found. Trying to get info of the 2nd dog in case also stolen.. Not hurt but very unkempt.

I getting confirmation from Kent police - its an old case on old system takes a bit longer to trace it.

Just wanted to let everybody know Meg is home 🤗🤗 she was found a few weeks ago and is now back with her wonderful owners where she belongs. I guess the message is never give up hope 💕

in contact with owners CRN now updated and status changed to stolen. New link x posted to FB and twitter.
Information and CCTV downloaded which police can use.
we need to track a man and woman driving a black astra in the area when missing in case they witnessed anything.
If anyone knows who this may be please contact doglost or call 101 Kent police so can be eliminated from police enquiry.
