I contacted dogstrust: "No sadly no sightings after the next morning and we looked for her & put lots of posters up for a week"
Very sad wonder where the little girl went , not aware she had a good home.
Its possible she headed back to her old home somewhere in Wales .Last edited: 2017-09-06 11:15:17 by Reynard

Ah! the old catflap routine. We had another rescue this year that escaped twice that way, I remember. Perhaps time the rescue agencies warned new adopters to lock their catflaps. Good to hear that folk are already looking for Tinsel. Hope locals/owner can get lots of posters up so more are aware.Last edited: 2016-12-13 22:18:39 by nicolapicola

Tinsel is missing from her new home in the Greenway Lane area of Mildenhall. It's believed she escaped via a cat flat during the night. The Dogs Trust team aware and have been working hard sharing word with all locals, you may spot them in their yellow van. Possible sightings in the Minal Cricket Club/Sports Ground area, also near to Church Farm. Local post lady has spotted Tinsel. I'm sorry not sure of exact timings. If sighted please don't attempt to chase or catch, call above numbers, thank you.

Poor little lass she must be so confused being lost in an area she does not know ?

What do you mean "she was missing in the morning?" You do have to take care of them you know, especially when they are new pets. If she was my new dog, she'd have been on my bed all snuggly. I really hope you find her very soon, poor girly xxx

So sorry to see that Tinsel is missing. We would love it if you'd let Hat Trick Productions follow your search for their Lost & Found TV series. Do call Lawrence on 0207 184 6738 for a chat.

Was she inside the house when you went to bed? Did she manage to get out of a door or window or was she stolen? Do the Dogs Trust know - maybe they can help look and give an idea of how she should be approached if sighted. (i.e. does she have a fear of men or women or children in particular, other dogs?). More info about her please.

Sorry to see that TINSEL is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (108687)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
