- Any news ?

- Steff please ask local postmen to keep an eye out, also milk lorry men as they are high up in their vehicles you can ask local horse riders/stables if you have them nearby. Give out some posters to them. Put a couple of posters in the local post box. Posties take them back and display in their sorting office for others. Please check with your local Council dog warden (again) to see.if she has been picked up. Also ask Highways Agency if they have picked up any deceased dog. Are you able to gather folk to help with a search party for the weekend? Last edited: 2016-12-16 07:52:53 by ClaireC

- So sorry to see that Holly is missing. We would love it if you'd let Hat Trick Productions follow your search for their Lost & Found TV series. Do call Lawrence on 0207 184 6738 for a chat.

- I would poster the whole area as your girl could have followed a scent from a deer or some other animal and be a couple of miles away by now.
The other high risk things to check for are possibly falling into swimming pools (The pool weather covers are the problem), pits, drains etc or getting tangled up and trapped somewhere.
Will keep my fingers crossed that you find her safe and well. - 2016-12-15 17:40 Stef
- I tried them, but they said they didn't have anyone in the area so they couldn't help me. I have emailed K9 tracker but no response from them yet.

- Perhaps try a tracker dog like www.k9searchdog.org DogLost people will have a list.

- The dog in Seend was a male unfortunately. We have looked everywhere, I have another young working Springer and she has been with me searching. We have had the police sniffer dogs over our land today but nothing unfortunately. Xx
- 2016-12-15 16:07 Reynard
- Apparently a possible sighting in Seend SN12, but also possible a local Dog according to Devizes Issue FB page ?
- 2016-12-15 15:54 ClaireC
- Yes, ive suggested maybe other Springers with owners to see if they can pick up any further scent! Stef are there any rivers nearby?
- 2016-12-15 14:12 Reynard
- Do you think an old dog would have traveled far, maybe Holly is under a bush somewhere having taken herself off to a quiet place. Would think you need to find a dog that can sniff out the area , try local PCSO as may be able to help you or gun club etc?
- 2016-12-15 12:34 ClaireC
- Stef does she still run around or is she more sedentary now due to her age?
- 2016-12-15 11:55 Stef
- Thank you, I did see that but it was a male springer, so not Holly unfortunately x
- 2016-12-15 11:51 Jennyd1975
- Someone on the Devizes Issue mentioned the saw a liver and white spaniel running through Seend yesterday..although that might be a bit too far away given her description? Not sure if it helps?
- 2016-12-15 08:32 Doglover
- Stef.....see if any horse riders can go along the perimeter where ditches are...they are up high and will be able to see more than on foot....dogs have been found by horse riders...
- 2016-12-14 22:34 Stef
- Our yard is in fishersbrook on the edge of bremhill. We have been searching all day, and all evening, we do keep going back to the yard and through everything twice. We don't know what else to do really. :(

- Hi Steff as i said on fb page, are there any folk local to the area that would help on Sat or Sun morn with a search party? If so, please contact Steff direct. I also think that a really thorough search of the yard where she went missing from is a must. Old dogs take themselves off to a nice cosy corner, hidden away for a nice sleep! Are there any horse troughs nearby? If so please check them in case she has fallen in. Last edited: 2016-12-14 19:30:26 by ClaireC

- Stef, elderly dogs rarely wander far, but they are vulnerable to getting stuck in confined spaces, e.g. between a shed and a wall, or under something, or even in a ditch. Please search the immediate area thoroughly - really thoroughly. Even after dark, with a head torch, you can spot a dog's eyes quite easily, so you don't need to wait until morning.

- Doglover, I think it's just by "Low Bridge" - about half a mile north east of Bremhill village, by the T junction (cross roads?).Last edited: 2016-12-14 19:21:01 by Svend

- Has she gone missing from a farm....I am trying to get a map,of the area and google view but each time I type in lowbridge bremhill calls it comes up different to if I type just bremhill calne....can you supply a more definite area. X
- 2016-12-14 17:29 Stef
- No she was up with us in the yard while we were checking the horses.
- 2016-12-14 15:40 Baydogs
- Was she on a walk when this happened Stef?
- 2016-12-14 15:35 JulieH
- Stay safe Holly until you are found x
- 2016-12-14 15:35 Stef
- Thank you so much. I hope she is found too. She is 15 so I wouldn't put it passed her to be a bit confused and disoriented. Thank you x
- 2016-12-14 15:06 Seeks
- Stef you must be so worried. I had a lovely old ESS baby... She got out once and despite knowing here fairly well she got totally disorientated. We were very lucky that she began barking so we could follow the bark.
I will share your girl to our stolen baby's page and also pop over Twitter to add a few hash tags for that way.
I really hope Holly is soon home xx - 2016-12-14 13:41 Stef
- She's 15, she is fairly fit but a bit wobbly on her feet.
