DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
Has he actually been caught yet? or did he escape?
Ellie
Sending best wishes for Christmas to Jayne and my old colleagues and helpers at DogLost xx
Unknown
Caught in the act by a member of the events team. Barely got stuck into a mince pie when he was off up the chimney. Game's up, Rudolph.
ClaireC
Message for Santa, please dont be cross with him when he either gets caught or makes his own way home! I'm sure he didnt mean to go fly-abouts on his own. Rudolf stay safe until you are either caught or make your own way home! I will be waiting for that thud on the roof! Merry Christmas to you all.Last edited: 2016-12-24 23:41:33 by ClaireC

Seems to be travelling east.
ClaireC
Oh deer deer, slowing down. He's got to start to.put a move on!
JANJAN
If he lands on my roof I'll let you know
Unknown
Rudolph's made it to London's Hampstead. Only had a little nibble - he must be full & slowing down.
Unknown
I think we probably have a few imposters. Can't be in Wells and Norwich at the same time, can he ?

Reports in Surrey of chimney pots and roof tiles being knocked off houses he is losing height due to all the weight he is carrying.
DogLostSarah - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambs Twitter Co-ordinator
A couple of sightings of similar reindeer on twitter but sadly not Rudolph
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
From a helper in Norfolk
I've just had a report he's been sighted in Norwich! He's taken over the karaoke machine in the local pub! Can you guess what song he's got on a loop............
DogLostBobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex
Reported sighting outskirts of Wells, Somerset on Strawberry Way, on checking out probably a false alarm as no red nose. Postering the area just in case.

Come on Rudolph think of the little children who need you
ClaireC
Heading North I hope!
Unknown
Obviously did give Berkshire houses a swerve as we've just had word that he's raided a Surrey house. Just took a mouthful out of each mince pie. Terrible manners !
Unknown
Definitely spotted Lisa and decided not to risk raiding a house. I wonder where he's off to now.
Magnscruff
My dog got his scent and then we discovered crumbs!! We spotted him grinning like a cheshire cat here in Staffordshire. That mince pie was meant for Santa!!! Naughty Rudolph. He did seem very happy and well fed
ClaireC
Poor Westie! Inconsiderate reindeer
Observant Citizen
I felt a couple of droppings fall down upon me. On examination, they are definitely those of a Reindeer. South/East x
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
I hope he is found soon! Time is running out
ClaireC
Oh deer deer where are you. Lots of children need you tonight!
DogLostNina
Well I have tramped miles tonight putting up missing posters up. I think Rudolph has done this on purpose so that he could admire himself when he sees the posters. Havent walked that far for ages..did somebody say my nose is getting longer than Pinoccios did, so being tired I am off to bed. Good luck with your searching everyome..MERRY CHRISTMASLast edited: 2016-12-24 22:52:07 by Nina
Unknown
Honestly Nik you would think Rudolph thinks his name is Dasher with all the dashing around he is doing tonight.
Unknown
We think he's heading towards Berkshire, so Lisa W is going out to search.
Unknown
Right I am off to bed.Do hope there is good news in the morning .If you need help in my area just text me xx
Unknown
Yes I have seen all the empty plates naughty Rudolph
Any more sightings?
Unknown
Still going strong. The photo from Hampshire shows he only left a few crumbs. Have a look at the Twitter feed on the home page.
Unknown
90 minutes left Santa cant go without him so many people are worried now x
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Yes, I agree, come on Rudolph, you are needed tonight, you have a very important job to do.
Think we need to check hedge rows and ditches as I expect he will be sleeping off all those mince pies!
ClaireC
Seems he's on reindeer food now as my neighbours plate has been emptied and some water has been drunk. He left the sherry!
Unknown
Come on Rudolph this really is not good enough you have eaten so many mince pies now I am asking you not to drink any sherry that is left for Santa to wash the pies down with

Give yourself up Santa needs you home
ClaireC
If he's got any sense he needs to be thinking about moving up country to get back. He's clocked up a lot of air miles now!
DogLostFiona Monger - Investigations Co-ordinator, Police Liaison
Just seen this post on wigan today The first recorded mention of Santa Claus in England is believed to have been made in Preston with this wonderful Victorian tale of Christmas... wouldnt be surprised if hes spotted there toninght

He is just about to get to Copenhagen, lolol Merry Christmas everybody xx
Unknown
Could be, Nina. Maxine thinks he could be heading to Cornwall, so she's off searching.
Unknown
Maybe Nina he just wanted all the pies?
DogLostNina
I think there is a master plan, all the reigndeer have a plan to meet up somewhere for a 'stag' do after work but Rudolph has left early.
Unknown
Do hope so CJ dont want two missing
Unknown
O my hes moving around a lot
DogLostCJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
Ive heard it was possibly Dasher going out to see if can catch his fellow worker and bring him back to Santa.
Unknown
Randy is lazy hence he doesnt live at North Pole .just frequented public places too much,Any more news only 2 hours and 5 minutes ot find him xx
Unknown
You'll never guess where he's gone. Somerset. Just Tweeting the photo now. Hardly a crumb left.
ClaireC
Coffax did he have a red nose? Especially as he was sighted supposedly in the pub!Last edited: 2016-12-24 21:56:24 by ClaireC
coffax
jenny4 - yeah your probably right, the name's more fitting for who I saw;-)
Unknown
Rudolph can't have a twin brother, surely. Two renegade reindeer ? Surely not !
Seeks
Will send out my special tracker pig....he can fly ;-) He will when Pups is found any way lol...

Jane us owners are not that good at saying thank you so from us and so many others thank you and Merry Christmas xx
Unknown
Coffax it could of been his twin Brother Randy he lives in Glasgow
coffax
You're all looking in the wrong place - I'm SURE I just saw him coming out of a pub in Glasgow! Santa's going to have problems tonight!!!
Unknown
OH WOW Jayne they are all doing such a good job searching for him so hope they find him very soon as he due at work
ClaireC
LisaP last seen heading towards M40 at Banbury Junction!
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
If you go onto our homepage on this site and scroll down to the twitter feed the photographic evidence is there along with co-ordinators searching for Rudolph....
Unknown
OH NO he is still moving around to fast even after all those pies
Unknown
WE"VE LOST HIM ! Where on earth is he heading for now ?
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Good luck Lisa!
Unknown
Now Lisa P is out searching in Banbury.
Unknown
well Runfold Eddie old people have always done it they dont understand ....Sandie Megan is not a good guard dog bless her xx
Turtle
I'm looking out for Rudolph, will post when I see him. Meanwhile Happy Christmas to all of you, thanks for all your hard work. Especially thinking of all you folk who are still searching for your dear pets. I hope you all have good news soon.
DogLostNina
I wouldn't mind betting he is doing a bit of work on the side, hiring himself out as a get you home service from local pubs, cheaper than a taxi.
Unknown
Clairec I think as Rudolph gets fuller he will slow down and then there will be more sightings?
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
You would think he would be slowing down by now!
Runfold Eddie
I suppose he was stolen after being tied up outside Tescos (other supermarkets are available) The owner should be prosecuted for abandoning a vulnerable animal.
Unknown
Unbelievable. Whilst Sandie was out Rudolph visited her house and stole a mince pie from under Megan's nose.
ClaireC
So he's headed West now!
ClaireC
My American neighbours just reported that theyve seen an.object flying high over Brackley it was either Rudolf or Trump! Think they are hoping for the latter as he's more frightening!!
DogLostAngus
He has been buzzing around Milton Keynes , just been out to a sighting near Woburn, I thought we might have got him enclosed when someone stood on a discarded mince pie tin and he got spooked and took off again
DogLostFiona Monger - Investigations Co-ordinator, Police Liaison
Shared post public. Mince pie trap laid. Wigan alerted x
Unknown
Just heard bells outside but by the time I got out whatever it was was gone ........maybe too far down for Rudolph
Unknown
Think it's Sandie who's been at the sherry. She's got tinsel on her head in the photo. Have a look at the Bucks Facebook page !
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
So where was the last definite sighting?
Unknown
....hic....hic....hic sort of never thought of that lets hope not many people leave sherry out ....hic....hic....hic
DogLostNina
Been thinking...might be a good idea to let Rudolph have a bit of freedom for a time...if Santa finds him and rigs him to the sleiegh with all the weight Rudolph is carrying he may go through some roofs...getting a builder at this time of year to repair might be very expensive.
Folly
Just seen a similar figure flying over Ferndown, pursued by a helicopter.Perhaps he has finished his rounds. Happy Grimbo to one and all. Never give up hope of getting your lost dog or cat home.
Unknown
Just spotted a similar one on tv , could be an imposter though
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Alerted local helpers....
Unknown
Hope he doesnt drink the sherry not good to drink and fly
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Alerts sent to helpers in all NG postcodes.
Unknown
Some suggestion that Sarah might have just missed him in Wisbech and that he was heading south west. Sandie's going out in Milton Keynes.
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Possible sighting reported in Nottingham, not sure if this is him but worth checking if any mince pies have disappeared in this area!
Unknown
Good thinking jenny4 maybe a few more pies and your are right it would defo slow him down
Unknown
Mistynsashasmum, he is cute isn't he ? But as Jenny4 says, that midriff must be bulging by now.
Unknown
well Mistynsashasmum think he may be a bit portly now so might not have such a good flight pattern hoping hes home soon xx
Unknown
But Nik he is so cute do you think some one might be hiding him?
Unknown
We're mobilising everyone. Just had a photo in of Sarah, our Twitter person searching in Wisbech.
Unknown
Jenny4 he seems to be keeping a low profile maybe all those pies?
Unknown
Only 3 hours left need more sightings Santa is getting frantic
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
HQ on stand by for the next sighting....
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Alerts sent to all helpers in DE postcodes.
Unknown
He really is into his mince pies
Maybe if we concentrate on where the pies are going missing we might get an insight as to his where abouts?
Unknown
Just in. He's targeted some children's bedroom in Derby and snatched the pies they left for Santa. Rudolph, you're being mean now !
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
Naughty Rudolph.
Unknown
Looking at the photo from Lancs, seems he ate the mince pies and left the carrots......
Unknown
Not in this area sorry
Unknown
Any more sightings please?
Unknown
Good idea Nina as I think Santa is a bit overwhelmed by him Rudolph needs a younger owner xx
DogLostNina
Do you think when Christmas is over we could recruit Rudolph to join doglost...he could be employed as doglosts drone...what s super disguise nobody would ever guess
sparkler
Rudolph where are you?, give us a sign - I hope your nose is glowing and Santa can locate you.
Unknown
AW I look at that beautiful face and my heart melts we need to get him and all our missing furries home
sheltielover
Rudolph has been flying around to try to find where all the stolen dogs are being kept - so that he can give Santa the list right now, I hope at least one or two are located and back home to ease the pain felt by the little children who miss them so much. May I just say THANK YOU to all volunteers and co-ordinators, admins, PR and CJ - for all the work they do. Last edited: 2016-12-24 20:39:15 by sheltielover

he keeps eating he wont be flying but walking so maybe a bonus if everyone leaves a couple extra out
ClaireC
Prosecco and mince pies maybe
Unknown
I think Rudolph is going too fast for Ray. With so many mince pies around I'm not sure a feeding station is much of an attraction.
DogLostNina
All this is so exciting I am desperate for the loo but don't want to miss any sightings.

DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Possible sighting reported over Wymondham in Norfolk, although not sure if this is him, don't think he would have got this far with all the mince pies he has been eating...
Unknown
Last report was Edinburgh, but as he was heading south I expect we'll have some more reports soon.
Unknown
Surely with all the views on this post he must be sighted again very soon?
Are admin keeping us updated or do they know something we don't?
Unknown
