Hi Jazzi it looked the spit of Meg but unfortunately it's not. Me and a friend collared HIM this morning. We took him to rockery kennels and apparently his names kingston and his family just let him roam the estate. I'm so sorry to the owner who i've spoke to in the past and is missing her pet dearly. I hope the real Meg is found soon. Are they still checking all the dog homes they're way, i'll keep checking mine. Fingers crossed for some good luck soon Dani xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Still no pos id, i'll poster again tomorrow just in case xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to owner it's poss this is the dog as meg was wearing a collar. Have called all the dog kennels in my area, but i'll be honest they're not the best. Will put some more posters out tomorrow. Owner doesn't have anyone out this way and she is an elderly lady so if anyone could put up posters around the hartshill/ chapel end/ galley common/ stockingford areas of nuneaton or even the villages outside it would appreciated. Matches description, was apparently in good condition with a dark coloured collar. However it looked like an adult dog ad oppsed to a puppy. That's four sighting os what soulds like the same dog in the last couple of weeks. I have only seen it once and oculdn't stop at the time. Will be back at home monday if needed to be contacted. Been around the parks in the are no sign started to spread the word though. We're a pretty tight set of dog walkers up here so hopefully someone will see something. Still no conformation that it is meg, if you could let me know if she had a collar on or not it would help. Fingers crossed Dani xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is a long shot and i don't want to get any hopes up. A dog has been seen matching the description on a parkland in Galley Common last friday afternoon and sunday morning. Unfortuanately the description could match a few dogs so i can't be sure as yet. The closest kennel is Rookery it's only around half a mile down. I left the number on my previous post. The dog had a collar on? Not sure if Meg did. Apparently the woman who saw it was going to stop on Sunday but two people wre already trying to coax the dog and she didn't think she was needed. I'll have a scout round tomorrow and see if anyone else has seen anything. I don't have a printer so i can't print your flyers but i'll put up sone postcards in the local shops. Here's hoping and if not i hope Meg is found safe soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

You could try the atherstone dog warden ian as i know he goes as far out as shustoke to get dogs. I think his number is 01942814300. I've been trying but got no answer otherwise contact north warks borough council on 01827715341. Other numbers in my area are rockery kennels on 02476392504 and witherley kennels on 01827713295. Please be advised that when Murf went missing Ian was the only person in my area that scanned lost dogs. Hope this helps I'll poster and get the word out around my area xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

EXTRA HELP WITH POSTERING PLEASE. As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Meg well. Stay safe Meg until you are found x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
