- Dog is at Godstone vets (phone number listed below)
Apparently the ‘chip reading machine’ wasn’t working so the vets has taken the dog in... - 2017-12-25 22:33 Sue - onestopalldogs

- Thank you Mrdanny for keeping this dog safe and for taking along to be checked for a microchip - all crossed soon reunited with owners. J.

- Well the dog will be taken to the Place in Godstone and if chipped the owners will be contacted or, as mentioned before, the dog will stay in their possession until the dog warden comes to collect.
Thankyou for helping us out Julie!

- No I certainly did not say not to call the warden that is the first thing that should be done with any dog found and is most important to do so as owners may have reported to the dog warden the dog is missing. I have no idea where that comment was made as not on DL Surrey page - J. Last edited: 2017-12-25 12:49:59 by Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London

- I wonder if this dog is an escape artist or the owners no longer want it
- 2017-12-25 12:27 Mrdanny
- They are open.... they said would scan the chip (if chipped)
But then said we can always hold onto it until the dog warden arrives? I’ve been told you mentioned not to call the warden? Last edited: 2017-12-25 12:37:10 by Mrdanny - 2017-12-25 12:22 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London

- Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
