Spoken to owner, the found dog cannot be Toby as Toby's tail is not docked. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Jo - Area Co-ordinator, Essex
Found dog on national pet register - Subject: Shaggy light coloured dog found (bit like a minature dulux dog), Pet Type: Dog, Area Found: Rainham, Essex. Dog found in Cherry Tree lane Rainham, Essex. 19.11.07. Very matted. Light coloured dog - possibly beige - curly fur. with black (dark) ears. Very friendly dog - quiet old. seems to be deaf. Docked tail. approx 20 inches high. I have sent a link of Toby's page to the finder. I know a few bits of the description don't match but thought it was worth checking. Sarah, have sent you a PM...Do we know if Toby's tail is docked? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Toby well. Stay safe Toby until you are found x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am so sorry to hear about Toby, I live in Greenwich too so I will keep my eyes open for him. I know what you are going through as I lost my dog four months ago, but you have done the right thing contacting doglost and hopefully you will be reunited soon.
