His name was pesto

Thank you to all who commented and people who shared on Facebook , we managed to find some very relieved people who were looking after the dog for a friend
Ianl
Judging by the condition of the dog we think this dog is local and has only just gone missing or has until recently been fed and cared for. He's very friendly and has settled in well.

No not 108290 as that dog had been spayed this one hasn't, thanks for info though.

Thanks but we have already been in contact with dog warden we will be knocking on doors again then we will be contacting dog warden, then a local kennels will be round to collect him. Presumably they will scan him.we can only keep him here for a few hours more, only vet available now on a bank holiday would be an emergency vet I would thinkLast edited: 2016-12-27 08:24:55 by Ianl

Take to the vet and he will scan for a chip. May have been stolen and now dumped or simply lost
Ianl
Sadly if we can't find the owner this morning we will have to contact the dog warden and he will have to go to local kennels as we can't keep him here
