- there is a post on there saying both dogs were actually chipped and they are currently at Woodgreen animal shelter Hunts...sounds like they will be reunited with their owner! states they went "missing" earlier this year.

- There are two parishes near each other in cambs called Earith and Haddenham. The police in Cambs gave this info on their facebook page. i only putting what was on the police page. im not sure where the poor dogs are now. they may well end up at Ravenswood animal shelter though as I think they take in strays for Cambs

- Monnie i dont think you have got your areas correct? Earith (Erith, Kent) and Haddenham (Bucks) are nowhere near each other! These poor dogs are at least.in a safe environment and I am sure will be treated for the injuries which i would say have come about as a result of illegal hare coursing but even the police cannot rehome within 24 hours! "These two dogs were abandoned between Earith and Haddenham yesterday when officers from our Rural Crime Action Team attended an incident of hare coursing. They have been rescued and are now looking for loving new homes via a local charity." - 2016-12-28 18:37

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
