- Clever girl Nell and very possibly clever boy Bob. Perhaps that howling helped her find her way back. Wonderful news to hear she's home 😀×

Welcome home Nell. X - 2017-01-03 15:32 angela
- We have just opened our back door to find Nell on the doorstep. She is very tired and hungry and smells terrible but other than that she is unscathed. Because of the various sightings we have our suspicions on who may have taken her but we are delighted she managed to give them the slip and is back home. When we heard last night that she had possibly been sighted in Broadwindsor we left Bob (her brother) in his run and not shut in his kennel because he has been howling for her and we hoped she might hear him.
Thank you all so much for the help and kind words, we are so grateful and happy to have her back. - 2017-01-03 14:12 IlovemyboyBarclay

- There has been a report of another collie missing in the same area so the one seen may not be Nell. Her owner is reporting the theft to all authorities.

- Owners are in the area now searching, they have Nell's brother with them. Any drivers passing through the area tonight please take care, narrow dark lanes with high banks are not the safest places for a dog to meet a car.

- Have been trying to catch a dog on the road between Beaminster and Broadwindsor this afternoon. He / she had been in the area for a few hours I think as a couple who lived in one of the bungalows on the main road were also out looking to catch it and take it to the warm. Was heading along the main road from Beaminster towards Broadwindsor and I tried on my way into Beaminster to get near it with no luck and it ran off. Then saw it again on my way back and I stopped again but it ran up a track. I went a fair way up the track but needed boots and a proper coat and a lead so rushed home, grabbed them and my other half and we both went back. Stew walked from the main road and all the way round and up back to Broadwindsor along Common Water Lane. Very timid so could have been hiding but we have got experience with hounds and hoped we would see her / him again but didn't. This could be Nell. Please could the owner contact me on my landline.
