ClaireC and Abbie Girl - Buddys chip is up to date and I check regularly to see if there has been any updates. He is still missing and none of the posts have been him unfortunately.

Hi, I'm not a member of the relevant FB group so can't link to it, but there was a dog found near Fareham Courts in Hampshire who looks very similar to Buddy. Info on the post is that the dog is now with dog warden / RSPCA. FB group was Buy and Sell Gosport and Fareham (I've only seen a screen shot shared to another group so I can't provide a link).

I was looking for another missing Bichon when I came across a Male Bichon at Friends of the Dogs, Wales (Cardiff Dogs Home) who is now named Chicco. I asked for his background and this is their reply:
'He was found straying, his finder kept him for a few days and posted on Lost and Found Sites. As his microchip details weren't upto date the finder was uncomfortable about giving him back to someone without being able to verify ownernship so he was brought into Cardiff Dogs Home. As far as we are aware his owners do know hes at the home but havent come to reclaim him sadly'.
Its not clear how his owners are aware nor how long he has been at the home. Their telephone number is 029 2071 1243 open 7 days 10.30-4pm

Another B/F (or very similar breed) White male dog found 27/3 posted on F/B by a Emily Jane Harman. Dog found in a deserted area away from houses over on gallions car park in Beckton, London. Says a friendly fella and says not chipped (?) from comments appears could be matted believes to be abandonded. Please check website Nationalpetregister.org a male Bichon Frise has been listed found in Denton, Cheshire M14 by someone. Says dog was very hungry and very heavily matted on saturday 26th March. Says about age 7 with 'wonky teeth' says no chip (?) not netured & possibly deaf

Hi, please check the Leeds City Council dog warden Facebook page (search for Leeds found dogs). I am a Leeds dog warden and I picked up an abandoned bichon yesterday in the Wetherby area and the circumstances were suspicious. He was chipped but unfortunately the chip details were unregistered.

Please check Many Tears Rescue. There is a male Bichon Frise on their site details say he was left behind on a travellers site came to them on 16/2 (??) they say he is 7 yrs and they call him Wallace. Please could owner check just in case

Hi a little white dog was spotted today 7am at Pig Bush car park in Beaulieu - I telephoned Rob one of the owners of Buddy to report this sighting but have not heard if it was Buddy. Ithought it best to report this on Doglost just incase the sighting today was a match to Buddy. Thank you Carol. I can forward a photograph if you message me back.

Worth checking found dog 110028 who looks very similar to Buddy. UPDATED TO SAY THIS MESSAGE WAS PASSED TO BUDDY'S OWNER AND 110028 IS NOT HIM.

Thank you everyone for you continued support and all the shares and leads. So many Buddy lookalikes keep popping up but to date none that have led to finding Buddy.
A possible Sighting this evening of is what was said to have been a white fluffy dog bearing a good resemblance of Buddy in the road outside Bournemouth University where 2 cars had stopped to try and catch the dog. Michelle has rushed over there but the cars are gone and as yet no sign. Praying this may be him and those kind people managed to catch him and there may be news very soon

Buddys owner = Buddy update - received a call from No Caller Id @ 8:45pm from a woman saying she has found my dog. Was slurring and sounded drunk - i asked her where she was and she garbled something that I couldn't understand then said 'he's f*cking shitting all over my floor' then hung up. The phone went again but as soon as I answered was put down. Please keep your eyes peeled if you're out tonight or early morning in case she kicked him back out on the streets

Buddy Missing -I can not believe for the amount of very kind sharing beautiful Buddy has not been spotted. Apart from one sighting in Christchurch around Fairfield, Bargates, Twynham Road, spotted NYE 23.45, running madly ( spooked by the stupid fireworks) told being chased by a man with dark balding hair and grey top. He must be with someone somewhere, he needs to be back home. He is chipped. We have posters up. Please can I ask
Everyone to share with as many as people as possible, we want Buddy home
