- Presume neutered. Check sheds, garages, greenhouses, , empty houses, cellars in case shut in. Try tempting him, with food. Put his blanket/bedding which will have his scent on, and leave in a clean container, along with something with yout scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some dreamies. Someone may be feeding him (Common peoblem) Try a squeaky toy, as it may attract his attention, or hold his favourite toy as you walk around. Poster around the area, and put "Lost" "Posters through doors too. Paws xd.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
