Our little pug Monty was found today on the railway lines near Crediton. He had been laying there for a while It's not the outcome we wanted but I want to thank everyone's kind words and efforts and especially to the lovely local guy who went out of his way today to return him to our family. Monty has been brought home and will be laid in peace at the place he loved. Thanks again to a lovely town.

How awful for you and your family - I assume you contacted dog warden, rescue centres and local vets and put posters up and flyers through neighbours doors.

Hi. We left him with a friend over Xmas for a holiday. At about 8pm on the 16th he ran out of the open front door and despite desperate attempts to find him they're hasn't been a single sighting. He went from Crediton Devon. He is chipped and very distinctive with no tail. We only found out when we got home in the 28th and have not had any luck at all but he couldn't have gone far on his own.
