Excellent news!
Milo
Milo has been found!
Neighbours reported hearing a dog barking in a garden that we had no access to as the owners were away.
They found him on their return late last night, wet, muddy but tail wagging.
Thank you for all your advice and encouragement. This is a wonderful website.

Did he disappear from home? If so, please make sure he can get back in somewhere sheltered, and leave bedding and food/water for him - many dogs return overnight. I see he's listed as elderly: is he showing signs of frailty or unsteady on his feet? If so, it's vital to search the immediate area very thoroughly, as he may have got trapped somewhere - under a shed, or between a fence and a wall, for example. I suggest you also print and deliver copies of his DogLost poster to all neighbours, and ask them to search their gardens, too.
