Hello, I've just seen someone selling a dog looking very similar to Bertie on the For Sale in the Bristol Area page on Facebook. I think the post has been removed already because I asked for more information and it said not possible then I couldnt find the post but i did screen capture it as she was selling the springer as a cocker spaniel and for £70.

Went up to the woods near Rooks Lane, had a mooch about an called for Bertie but no response. Didn't cover all woods just the side the sighting was. This was approx 1.45pm today. There where three lads biking in the woods so mention Bertie to them and told them about the dog lost site if they spotted him.

New possible sighting in berkley BA11.

Hi Katie, i was heading past rooks lane which would be on my left as i was driving, he stuck his head out about half way along as the woods start! 100% a lost spaniel! Was going to cross the road so i quickly turned round but couldn't see him! So i parked up and walked into the woods but no sign of the dog. I follow this page as our cat went missing few months back and thought il have a quick flick though and seen bertie, looked very similar! I know alot of spaniels do did look like him! Sunday 28.05.17

Very similar dog on posting fb - LSPCA Rescue which is copied onto 'Find Jeff £1500 Reward Scotland' fb page. Dogs dumped from car in Ireland - all believed stolen. Really worth a look. Photo now on Doglost - Found page.

Please ask owners to check hay barns and in between farm buildings, surprising how many get stuck in between. Check ponds etc. Ask delivery drivers to keep a poster in their vehicle. Postmen also.
