Yesterday I saw a black Labrador in the farm near my home when in there. This is near Teynham, Kent. It looked possibly an older dog rather than a young lab but no picture as yet. It ran away as soon as I called it. It was wearing a collar and appeared to have a disc. I did not do anything else at that point as local dogs often wander in there and is a small village. I went back later to feed my horses and my Labrador ran to back of barn and the lost dog shot out and ran off again. I have fed him (unlikely any other dog has had the food) and left a feed this morning. He/she looks well cared for. I have made others aware who use the farm so we are all looking. Will continue to feed and provide water and it is warm and sheltered where he/she is hiding out.
I am not sure what else to do but will alert dog warden if I see the dog again or there is evidence it is still there today. If I can catch the dog I will and will keep safe until dog warden comes. - 2017-01-08 13:07
