Marianne has messaged to say that Ruby was found on their search today. Here is her message
Thank you for everthing you did for Ruby and for our family. We could not have done this without you. Bless her she died doing what she loved best ...chasing something can only explain how she was when we found her. We are all devastated but can lay her to rest now. xx

Thank you Bobble for your searching. We have been on foot for two days looking within a 2 mile radius around where Ruby disappeared. Posters to posties, fliers and phone calls to local farms and 'the search for Ruby' continues this weekend when volunteer Face book friends in the area will be walking their dogs in search for Ruby. 1,600 shares on social media. Tomorrow is DAY 7.

Driven out this evening Wells, Coxley, Glasto, Pilton, West Compton, Pylle etc.

I have also been told that there is a similar looking dog in Shepton Mallet.

I live in the BA6 area (West Pennard/West Bradley) I wil keep a good look out for Ruby. I spend a lot of time outside and go for walks all around the area including Baltonsborough, Butleigh etc.

The sighting in Shepton Mallet was followed up that evening and after searching and calling by the owner for 1 1/2 hrs at the sighting point and a mile radius around there was no sign. Asked around the locals and plenty of dog walkers were out who said there was a Springer on the estate with similar markings called Chocolate and that may have possibly been the dog.

Posters being distributed as much as is possible. Posters and flyers to Polsham, Meare, Westhay, Glastonbury and Wells area. Posters have gone up on parish community boards.

Been out that way this evening, spoken to some dog walkers.

Area needs to be blitzed with posters, if Ruby is around then someone will know to phone owner or if stolen someone may have seen something. People need to know, do not rely on social media.

In contact with Marianne the owner of Ruby.
This fog was adopted by her after a friend deceased last summer. She is a companion dog for Mariannes other dog also.
On asking if lost on a walk. Marianne has said Ruby disappear while walking 'around' their home.
