- FYI This is not South West should be East Anglia now, actually Peterborough Area. Bumblebee (Mab) postered for nearly a year various threads about how poor Quiggley went missing, possible theft by persons known to owner, but not verified in the end. There was one very similar dog (found near canal) but I did research in detail and although in appearance it was so much like her 1) the other dog was much smaller, 2) feet werre diferent(found one had dew claws). The Found one was rehomed by a rescue. Unsolved - Fly Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Update: I have been speaking with Owner (Tom) and today have been trying to unravel Rotty X mystery, but basically a kind chap picked up a femail rotty x and the dog warden took it to Hampole Kennels at Doncaster on 24th, I have just been speaking with them and they are not on the internet but their description does NOT sound like her, they said she has soft floppy ears and a black and brown face, like a mastiff or ridgeback. Quiggley looks more like a gsd with a shorter face and her face is reddy brown. However to be sure I will try to get a poster of Quiggley to them to make sure. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just a long shot but could the Rottie cross bitch on the Found pages be Quiggley - found in Doncaster - black body with brown on head and feet. I know it's a long shot but thought it was worth mentioning anyway. I remembered Quiggley well as she was such a beautiful looking girlie. Fingers crossed that you will find her soon. Will try to contact owners.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- If Quiggley is a Rottweiler cross that doesn't look like a rottweiler, we're not going to get anywhere without a pic. Jan, did you suggest that the owners register ?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- As soon as Admin receives a photograph, and more details, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, libraries, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Quiggley well.
