Balou was found by a lady walking her two dogs in a park in Ruislip at about 8.30 this evening.She took him home & her daughter recognised him as the stolen pup from Hatch End. Owners were called immediately. Balou will be having a check up at the vets tomorrow but is absolutely fine, even chewing his owner's slippers. X

Did both owners purchase things for their respective new pups from the same pet store?

Just got a result with a Pet Trade Publication that I deal with for work - the Editor is going to run a story about Bluebell & Balou - the two local puppies stolen so close to each other. Will be on their website and in e-mail newsletter to the whole Pet Trade next Thursday if our pups aren't 'in the Blue' by then!

Balou's owner confirms Balou is still missing, he hasnt been returned it appears to be a misunderstanding after someone misread something posted somewhere x

2 Wallets were stolen from the house at same time as Balou - anyone in the area, please keep an eye out for discarded Wallets, Driving Licences or Bank Cards, in the name of 'Harrington Green'

I have emailed owner. As a break in i am switching to stolen using above incident number. Once he gets an IOC allocated they should change to a CRN which i can change once he get it.

Karen, I think that number is an incident number not a CRN.
A CRN is longer. If the owner hasn't yet been supplied with one they need to get back to the police and ask for one.

Have now spoken to owner and have more details - Crime ref is 1261
Owner aware of Bluebell who is literally 10 minutes down the road, so I'm sure police are aware.

Please can owner send crime reference number to dogloststolen@gmail.com and the Dog Lost police co-ordinator will change status to stolen and be able to liaise with local police investigating this.
