Thank you to those who've updated on my behalf, my phone ran out of data as I was trying to let everyone know!! She's back, marched in and curled up in front of the fire as though she never left, is very happy to be given chicken and has had a couple of small wounds on one leg dressed. We will be going to the vets in a bit just to check her over for peace of mind. Thank you to everyone offering support, there are some wonderful people out there :)

From Harvey's Army FB page - "The owner got a flurry of calls...went to the site and after a few try's, she came running to her owner on her whistle!!! Not far from the scene of the car crash...was spotted on a nearby golf course and on the motorway hard shoulder this morning...and looked like she was headed back to the crash scene...but she seems fine,

I'm fine thanks, think they just had to take me to hospital to check me out due to state of the car, but I just wanted to get out and search :( My poor little car will run no more, but it's Phoenix that concerns me, just hoping for sightings as there's currently so little.
woolly1947
Hi just checked and I think it's possibly WA12 Newton le willows but going west from the field someone has previously noted a. Sighting ( behind Ashton Road ) it becomes WA11 Haydock . Do hope you are ok - we were caught in the traffic and know it was serious . Last edited: 2017-01-12 23:27:26 by woolly1947

Thank you woolly1947 I have updated, not familiar with the local area and I was posting on DogLost while being stitched up, seems I made a mistake with that bit :( Apologies for any inconvenience. And Shelagh, Ray has been in contact thank you.

Thanks WA11 helpers also alerted.
woolly1947
Can you please check your notification area . If the dog was lost at Haydock island in the RTA then it's not in WN4 postcode . I think it may be WA11. And comes roughly under Newton le Willows . Helpers in that area perhaps could be notified . Hope he turns up soon, it's really cold 🙏

Sighting at 4.30 yesterday on the crop fields behind Woodlands Park on Ashton Road, other side of the motorway bridge, still around junction 23. Scared. Have left my details with the farm, don't know if she's still around there. Apparently she was holding up a hind leg :/ Really want her home!
NickyB
in previous cases like this the dog runs at first then very very often returns to the spot of the accident. could someone leave clothing or bedding at the spot and keep a 24 hr lookout for her
