- Because he is un-neutered it`s possible that he may jhave gone seeking a female to mate with. And they can go a distance. It`s always best to have your cat neutered; even Indoor cats. As in this case they can "Escape" Neutering helps prevent Feline Ais, fighting with other cats. Hope Simba is home soon. Keep trying the tips. Paws xd. Last edited: 2017-01-17 14:24:34

- Indoor cats on the whole dont tend to go too far He is probably hiding nearby, and will be feeling very scared, and anxious. When checking ooutbuildings, make sure he isn`t hiding behind an object within. Cats are notorious at keeping very still, and quiet in certain situations. Put his blanket (Unwashed) into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a dry spot Open a door where Simba has access to, and stand aside (Not in the dorway) And rattle some dreamies, or place them near the doorway. If you see Simba returning when you are by the door, I wouldn`t try and grab him, as he might run off again, as he will be feeling stressed. if anything like my cats. Just act as though him going awol has been no big deal, and hopefully he will. go inside. Just say "Hell where have you been? in a quiet voice Indoor cats feel more safe, and secure inside with people they know, and trust. Paws xd.Last edited: 2017-01-16 10:44:04
