- So pleased that beautiful Sasha is back home with her family. Picking up on what cockerspaniellover has said about getting her infected wound looked at by a vet, I'm wondering whether it might be wet eczema (known as hot spots) as Rottweilers can be prone to this type of problem (don't actually understand why this should be so) but, they can be very troublesome and difficult to clear and so this Rottie girl might need a course of antibiotics. If not too bad, they can sometimes be cleared by using DILUTED Hibiscrub but don't continue with this treatment for too long if the wound isn't clearing. We've had 5 Rotties over the years and 3 of ours (including our current girly) have suffered from these horrible bright red, weeping sores. But despite that just wanted to add welcome home Sasha.

- I know it probably isn't normal practice but please can this dog be seen by a vet as a wound infected could get very nasty xxf
