  • Other Info Small black/dark dog (could be a miniature pinscher but it's dark & difficult to see) running loose on Long Reach, Ockham/West Horsley for the last few hours. We are trying to find out who owns this poor soul as he/she is very nervous & crying. Last seen on Long reach at approx. 5:40pm someone must be missing this poor soul but I fear he/she won't last the night as it's already -2 degrees & this is a rural area.

Hopefully people will continue to keep an eye open for this ,its too cold out there for dogs specially a whippet type dog who have such thin coats .

Hollieberry - yes I'm sure you are right but it was so dark, It was difficult to tell what breed hence I posted 'could be'. Someone else thought it could be a whippet - still no more sightings so hopefully this dog has made it home safely. Numerous people have swept various areas of forest & fields yesterday & this morning & nothing..

I am pretty sure that the Pinscher breed do not have any white on them .

Thanks Julie & Gilly - Still no updates of anyone missing this poor soul. Two earlier sightings when there was more light seem to think it was a puppy hence my concern. Just ringing local vets to see if they know of a dog citing the description.
