- Gilly is it possible to have an update, even if it is only a happier photo.

- This is a long shot I know. Legal tail docking is done at a very early age and requires a vet certificate. if someone has the time it may be worth contacting vets local to the area to see if they have any records of a breeder having litter of done around the time this little girl may have been born. Its also possible she may have been chipped as a very young pup and its has migrated. I know of one that took some time and a very firm pressure full body scan for the vet to get it to register on the halo.

- She looks just like my Amber who is a rescue sprocker who was also dumped and had a hard start to life. She hasn't grown out of the many issues she came with but she has a safe and loving home with buzz springer. Hope this little girl gets a happy ending. So many dogs being stolen and dumped now it's chilling x

- The look on this poor girls face in the extra image is heartbreaking ... she has no spark in her eyes as she should have; whatever life she has had up till now has had little or no love in it, and to throw her over a wall and just leave her to her fate at any time of year is evil ... I hope whoever did this can be found and named and shamed, and I`d like to be at the front of the queue janiejewel1649 when the scum gets the come-uppance!! Onwards and upwards very soon for this little girl, I hope. Well done to the person who found her and got her to the vet straightaway.

- Jane. I think the majority of people are animal lovers. You will always be a minority like this piece of scum (So called owner) I dont think it will be too long before she finds her forever home. She looks lovely. For anyone wanting to throw this scum from a great height onto concrete, in freezing temperatures please form an orderly queue. Last edited: 2017-01-23 12:47:21

- Whoever said we are a nation of animal lovers was deluded - what a beautiful dog. She deserves a lovely home and a caring owner, something she hasn't had...xxx

- Many thanks GillyP, that is much appreciated. Thank God she is now in safe hands and will hopefully get a lovely new home in due course. It would be good if there was cctv on the area she was thrown away. Many thanks to her finder, there are many good people in the world, but far, far too many rotten ones as well.

- Here you go Esther this is the article.
The RSPCA is appealing for information after a spaniel was thrown over a six foot wall at a designated dog walking field in Kent.
The black and white spaniel, thought to be a small springer or cocker spaniel with a docked tail, was discovered on Wednesday morning (18 Jan) by an off-duty policeman as he walked his own dog.
The female dog, who is roughly one years old, had been thrown over a 6ft fence into an enclosed gateway which accesses a designated dog walking field on Snodland Road in Birling, West Malling in Kent.
“This poor pup is lucky to be alive. When she was found, there was frozen solid faeces on the floor next to her, how she survived herself in such freezing conditions I don’t know, it’s likely she was dumped overnight
“Thankfully she’s okay, the kind dog walker took her straight to the vets who then called me. She’ll need a lot of TLC after her frightening ordeal, and treatment for her skin condition and a sore eye, but I’m confident she’ll make a good recovery.
It was an extremely cruel thing to do to this poor little dog; she could have sustained terrible injuries from being thrown over the fence onto a concrete ground.
It's hoped the dog will be re-homed soon.
The dog is now being cared for at RSPCA Millbrook centre in Chobham, and after a 14-day abandonment notice ends and she is fully recovered, the team will be looking to find her a loving new home - 2017-01-23 09:49 Esther
- I really despair of people. I am rubbish with computers so cant get to your link Gilly and so don't know the details. Please God let this little one be cared for and from now on have a good life. So many working strain springers and cockers get thrown out, they may not be big dogs but are naturally VERY active and intelligent dogs, and in the wrong environment are far from ideal pets,as they do need LOTS of exercise. Sorry, rant over, please can you keep us updated GillyPLast edited: 2017-01-23 09:50:42 by Esther
