Hope you soon find pixie. We lost our rescue within the first days of having him. He was an Irish street dog and was hiding in undergrowth close to home - we'd not taken him many places. We found him early in the morning. Keep looking, and I'll certainly keep my eyes open tomorrow morning when I'm out with my mutts.

Good luck.

Ps thanks to doglost for postering and helping us find our lost boy.Last edited: 2017-01-29 18:03:08 by amk254

Jenny, Helen just filled me in on this. Have shared out to friends local to the area. Are the rescue able to advise if the dog was always in a shelter or had spent time on the streets. It makes a difference with the Rommies especially re the traffic etc. I know you are on it but please shout if I can help

I fostered Pixie and went up last night round Gambet Rd, new Bovis homes with adopters. Went to Brock worth as spotted round school last night. Please keep look out in both Hucclecote and Brockworth. If you spot her in your garden, old leave food and somewhere she can shelter. She is unlikely to come up to an unknown person. By giving her food and shelter she is more likely to stay put and her adopters notified. I live in Bristol so not close by. Thank you for your help.

Jenners - I believe the Fosterer is going this morning with a dog that Pixie knows before going to the adopter I am off tracking another dog today so can't help but was contacted late last night.

This was just posted on Spotted Gloucester .... Just saw a small dog - jack Russel size - light colour with small floppy ears running around by the top end of castle hill school. Tried to call it over but ran off into a cul de sac. Followed it but it had gone. PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS SECURE! It's so close to the main road A46

I have copied and pasted your info underneath so hopefully the person that wrote that message will contact you - does this help? Melissa

Owners - please do as Jenner advises and get posters up round where she was lost

I have put 30 posters up around Coopers Edge, Tesco, industrial estate and a couple of bus stops on Hucclecote road. I can't emphasise enough how important it is to get posters up quickly, there are none up around the area she went missing from! Hopefully there will be sightings in the morning, keep safe Pixie x

With respect Cockerspaniellover a tin of treats rattled behind an imported street dog,as Im pretty sure this one is, will have an adverse effect. Last edited: 2017-01-28 18:22:33 by Mollychops

Bless her, well make sure you put a bed out as she may follow the scent and go there to keep warm, look as long as you can and perhaps take a Tin of treats to shake whilst calling her name xx if safe away from roads strange as it sounds
But try diluting your wee and leaving a trail as she will pick that
Up as familiar. Inform all local vets, dog wardens, rescue centres in case picked up or reported and put posters everywhere possible. Check hedges and places she could hide to xx
