- If I was the owner of a lost whippet I would be contacting all the 'found' whippet posts, pictures or not! Quite understand why the vet would like owners to describe the dog they've lost if it's a bit of a state :-)

- Hi. The dog was brought in to the vets where I am a nurse and is currently with me. Dog warden has been notified. She was in a bit of a state so would like anyone who claims her to come to us with a description rather than post photos. Thanks

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
