Have had 3 sightings in Royston of Diesel, not sure if it's really him. One man caught him, put him in the car but left drivers door open and dog jumped straight out. Went to see the man who was adamant that it was the dog on the poster, then he said it was a bitch!! Knocked and left posters at every house in the road where it had run off, one other person had seen the dog running up the road on the same day, no sign otherwise. A schoolfriend of the owners little boy believes that he saw Diesel in the local park. Yesterday a lady phoned, said that she had seen him in the town on his own. The owner went straight up there, as did we but no sign of Diesel or any dogs who look like him. Going to Poster some more today. Come on Diesel show yourself.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Checked out the ad on Gumtree, gave information to owners. Looked later at the ad and a photo had been added. Unfortunately it's not Diesel. This dog is mostly black with a white stripe down his face, a white chest and white toes. Thankyou anyway, please keep looking.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Good luck - would be good if someone that has time could actually go along to Battersea too - hand them a poster, they are busy and it would ensure he was at the front of their minds. Good luck xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm helping the owners with their search, still no news yet, I spoke to Matt on the telephone yesterday evening, not a single sighting!!Continuing to poster and checking other websites, seems to be common knowledge in the Town, so I would be surprised if he is still here. There was a report of somebody taking photo's of dogs on the heath, his details and vehicle details have been passed on to the police, he seems to be local at the moment, living in his van, but no joy from the police. thanks for your help, sharonLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Diesel well. Stay safe Diesel, until we find you x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
