Thank you all for your posts. A wide search today amongst the local dog owners revealed nothing of Rosie's whereabouts. The more information we have on the incident suggests she was put in the white van and driven off by the occupants. We just have to remain vigilant and try to make contact with who took her in a different way. Thank you all for your concerns and future efforts. Charlie owner

I believe owner has been out again today and I strongly suspect that others whilst out dog walking have been out as well looking. I have offered to set up a search but owner has declined.

Really hope this little girl is found asap,hopefully she is lying low after being chased.The lurcher should have been kept on a lead and muzzled not just let loose,my own ex working lurcher always gets giddy when cocker spaniels are on the field,they run just like rabbits side to side.Fingers crossed for good news x

I have been in touch with owner and given some preliminary advice in this first instance which is to go back to where they first started walking to point of going missing to thoroughly check the area looking into hedgerow etc in case this little dog is now lying injured as opposed to being stolen. Will update later on.
