We have had a sighting of a stray dog on Thursday 9th May, at around 5:15pm ish. This dog looked old, frail and very thin... could this be Rudy? If you have any sightings at all please contact Pat, Rudy’s owner.

Never give up hoping...with a number of long lost dogs being reunited. But where there were posters local to me - they seem to have now gone? Melford, Sudbury, etc. Villages along the Sudbury to Halstead road have also gone? (Family live at Wickham St Paul - so I know poster has gone from there...just didn't know if there was any reason why)?

Rudy has been sighted on 12/01/2018 walking slowly through a field in Clare, Suffolk. This was at approximately 3:15pm.

Wanted to update you all that we have had a very positive sighting yesterday morning (Tuesday 14th) in Clare!!
I can’t be any more specific with the exact location as the last think I want is lots of people descending on the area although I know that a lot of you guys would drop everything and get down there.
Pls be very aware now also in residential areas and anywhere where wheelie bins are, as well as in the rural areas around Clare/Poslingford/Hundon/Wickhambrook/Denston and Stradishall.
Please can I ask everyone to be vigilant and keep their eyes open, particularly those in the areas above

Sighting this morning 5th of October

We have had a very good sighting of Rudy called in near to Clare. This was at 10.30am this morning and the lady who saw him was able to identify him from poster we showed her. We believe he is moving again.
Please can I ask you all to be extra vigilant in the following areas:
Clare
Brockley green
Kedington
Bernardiston
Hundon
And all nearly villages
We believe that he is retracing his old routes.

Please keep a look out in areas Earls Colne, Great Tey all the way through to Haverhill. But please do not forget the old places where Rudy has been sighted in the past Witham, Rivenhall, Silverend, Cressing, Perry Green, Bradwell, Kelvedon, Coggleshall. Rudy has travelled a lot and it's always a possibility he is returned to areas where he has been before. There are many volunteers on "Team Rudy" who are always on the lookout for him in the many areas that he has been sighted. Posters are being put up/ replaced / renewed where necessary. There have been no recent sightings. So vigilance in all areas from Coggeshall, Essex through to Haverhill / Stradishall, Suffolk is needed & greatly appreciated. All those on "Team Rudy" are aware of the need to contact Patrick if Rudy is sighted, but if anyone else spots him please note time, day, where and direction of travel and fone or txt the number above /on the poster- Do not chase, call his name or follow him. We do not want him spooked. Hopefully he will settle somewhere again soon and we will get a positive sighting of him. Eyes peeled everyone please!!!!!

Good morning everybody

This is day 155. That's how long he's been gone. 155 days since Rudy was let down so badly by those meant to be looking after him.

I've tried my best to find him. I've been supported by so many amazing people. And they are still with me standing side by side, offering encouragement and hope

I owe Rudy one more big push. There is a chance he is still out there. I have had some unconfirmed reports come through recently. I can't share exactly where, as the professional advice I'm getting says we need to minimise people spooking him (if it is him 🙏🏻)

This weekend I need to ask for some help guys. Yes I'm desperate and I wouldn't ask publicly on here unless I really needed your help. So here goes...

I have a map of an area he could be in. I have split map into segments and I'm asking for 4 teams of 2 who can help poster and leaflet a segment over the weekend. One driving, one jumping out and sticking up a poster.

I already have several teams of 2 ready to go. I have all posters ready.

The areas of interest are:

Haverhill
Kedington
Grreat wratting
Little wratting
Great Thurlow
Little Thurlow
Sturmer
Stoke by clare
Little Bradley

(THESE ARE THE AREAS WE NEED POSTERING)

Good evening everyone

I wanted to share some news from today. We have had a report that Rudy may have been seen outside the gates of high point prison (Stradishall in Newmarket). The sighting was roughly on the 1st June.

I'm taking this as a positive at this point. Granted it is a couple of weeks ago but the gentleman who reported it was shown several pictures of him and was fairly adamant it was him.

This could possibly tie in with a report we had some 5 weeks ago when a cyclist thinks he may have seen him between Hundon and stoke by clare. We did do a search of the area back then but ultimately we couldn't find any evidence that he was there.

The reality is that this might or might not be him. I've got to think positive and I've got to let people know that he might be that far out. It's a good 20 miles but across fields it is certainly within the realms of possibility that he's still travelling out.

Please, please, please if you are in this area or perhaps know people who live in and around these places SPREAD THE WORD and let them know that Rudy might be in the area.

Rudy has possibly been sighted around the Earls Colne, Chappel area also possible sighting in Gosfield last weekend and most recently lowefields in Earls Colne. Also possibly been seen in Pebmarsh. We please ask that everyone keeps an eye out in these areas also within a 5 miles radius of them too. I was out searching today....we stopped at Rivenhall church where there had been sightings ....myself and another lady actually saw him at 3.15 pm.....he was only 20ft away from me...I crossed onto the field and the other lady phoned owner. Rudy ran up the hill into the distance and out of site....But as owner turned up, we saw Rudy running down again and towards the woods....owner followed...but unfortunately by the time he caught up, he had disappeared again....we drove around to the woods and searched the woods, but no sign, but fortunately he is staying in the same area....there are lots of,people out looking for him and placed in different areas where sightings have been. X

He is extremely spooked so we appreciate eyes to look as Patrick the owner is in the area. He is looking to run to the fields so we want to keep him on Street as Patrick alone will be the only one to coax him . Update laburnum drive Witham another sighting. Do you have chip number- if so update on here. You state He is chipped but number not available as just moved from Westcliff Essex then you need to phone petlog to advise missing and do a change of details form ASAP. If picked up and scanned they will have no way of contacting you.

• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (110909)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
• If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
• If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
• Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
• DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
