- My dog had puppies, I know they like a bit of a break from them, but she did love them and wouldn't be away from them for long. I think someone must have her. I really feel for you, its heartbreaking at any time; hope the babies are keeping you positive. Hope you get you girl back home soon. Nest wishes xxx

- I have spoken to the owner and the puppies are just fine, they were well into weaning, there is no chance that they will die now, please do not make these comments, the owner can see them. I have been breeding for 40 years and I am certain they are OK. Much more concerned about Poppy who has loads of milk apparently, so lets concentrate on her please.

- I find it hard to believe that a mother with young puppies would wander off after having a wee - is it possible she was taken?

- Remember owner (who I've been in contact with) will see these posts. Worried enough about mum without the talk of losing puppies. Puppies can be weaned from 3 weeks when they are not getting all the nutrients from mum anymore. Please keep sharing.

- Hollieberry - I agree main priority is gettin dog home safely but my friend has been a breeder for 10 + years and just because they are weaned on to solids it is still possible that without mum some can die, I have seen it happen. They are still very reliant on mum.

- Poppy went missing from home after being let out for a wee.
- 2017-02-04 15:11 Hollieberry
- cockerspaniellover these pups will not die, at 5 weeks old they will have been introduced to food a couple of weeks ago .The main concern is finding the mother safely.

- This is awful as those puppies need her. Are there any volunteers local that can help look for this gorgeous girl?? Has scent advice been given to trail from home etc. This one is extremely urgent as those pups could die and mum could get very infected swollen nipples xxLast edited: 2017-02-04 14:50:06
