fantastic news. Benji is home. After being picked up by the police at the roadside, Benji was taken to kennels and rehomed (obviously not checked for a microchip). the new owner took him to a local vet who thankfully checked for a chip and we picked him up thursday. We would like to give a big thanks to all of you for the support and kindness you have shown us over the past dreadful months. THANKYOU!!!!

Looks like the council change their page of found dogs on a weekly basis as the lab/retriever doesn't appear on the listing now. Would still be worth ringing them though on 01508 533706.

Male golden labrador found near Thurlton - on South Norfolk council website http://www.south-norfolk.gov.uk/environment/700.asp. Might be worth a look.

Has anybody checked out the 3-4 year old nervous lab retreiver on the found pages dated 10/10/07. Also Central area. Also wearing brown studded collar.

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Bengi well. Stay safe Bengi, until you are home x
