- received an unbelievable telephone call about 20 minutes ago - from a lovely gentleman and asked if I had found my Dale - i went to see the cat that he had seen and it was my Dale - it's been over 10 months, but it was him. He has obviously ben looked after as he was in very good condition. The posters worked. Dale is now home where he should be. I am so happy and also in shock

- It has been 6 very long and heart wrenching weeks since Dale went missing and unfortunately there is still no sign of him. We still search the local area - but he is still AWOL..... If you know anyone who lives in the Attleborough area or villages close by - could you share this link or ask them just to check rear gardens, under bushes or outbuildings. Thank you

- From Dale's owner....
Unfortunately Dale is still missing - despite all our efforts to locate him. We are still hoping he is in the Attleborough location and urge residents to take a look in your gardens or under thick shrubs, just in case he is hiding. He must now be sourcing food either from some kind people who put out food or doing what he enjoyed at home - hunting!!! We live over 5 miles as the crows fly from Attleborough, so he is truly lost in a strange environment to what he is used to. - 2017-02-09 20:20 lou
- Janiejewel - thanks for the positive comments - can only hope that we are as fortunate to find Dale like your friend.

- I would keep looking for him in your area, and where he escapoed from the carrier. And posters, posters, posters. When searcnhing for him, take an object with his scent on; his blanket maybe, or a favourite toy. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Also wear the same deodorant/perfume that you use on a daily basis. He will recognize the scent He will be hungry and probbaly being fed by someone by now so has most likely HAS found refuge in a garden. WHEN A CAT ESCAPES FROM A CARRIER, SEEKING REFUGE IN SOMEONES GARDEN IS NORMALLY WHAT THEY DO. THIS HAPPENED TO A LADY I KNOW AND, THIS IS WHAT HER VET TOLD HER. SHE DID FIND HER CAT; IN SOMEONE`S GARDEN BEING FED NOW REUNITED:-)Last edited: 2017-02-08 12:27:40

- Thank you to all who have made suggestions. Over the past 5 days my husband and i have spent nearly 18hrs total a day walking around the edges of Attleborough. Approx 35 miles each and counting. I have put up over 150 posters (that will upset the Council) and have put flyers into every property that faced the industrial estate and behind them. We had numerous staff from the estate looking for Dale during the first day and each vehicle was stopped and checked before they left. But it appears more likely that he bolted straight out of the estate into the opposite housing estate at first. Dale escaped from his cat carrier it would appear that one of the locks failed and his weight pushed enough against the other forcing the door open - when he was out of the carrier the garage unit next door started up an air wrench/gun and he bolted. There were so many obstacles i could not see which direction he went. He had just had an injection to help with his high temperature the vet thought he had a virus of some sort and needed more meds for the following 5 days. I am not sure what more we can do - i have listed him missing on so many different sites as well as all the above - if anyone has any other suggestions i would love to hear from you.

- Could possibly have seeked refuge in someone`s garden, and is being fed. Poster around the area where he went missing from. And ask around. Paws xd.Last edited: 2017-02-08 11:52:49
