Hi.Just like to thank everybody for their help, support and kindness. This has been a long and hard 4 weeks. Rosie seems fine, a bit thin but otherwise ok. Taking her to the Vet for a check-up tomorrow. She has had a bath and is now fast asleep in her bed. Thank you all soo much. Lyn Evans

Well what a morning :) Finally got a trap set up & baited with food. I didn't think she would have been caught so quickly! I had just got back ( not even home, had stopped off to meet friends for a cup of tea) when I got a call from Marty on site, to say she was in the trap ( less than 2 hours it took). I headed back & met Lyn, Rosies owner & we carried the trap to a secure area to transfer her to her own crate. She wagged her tail all the time & seemed happy to finally have been caught :) She looks well, smells a little & will be checked over by the vet. It was very emotional. Thankfully I remembered to ask Marty if he could take a photo of her in her crate in the car, which I am sure he will upload later when he finishes work. Got to say a big thanks to everyone who has looked out for her/reported sightings etc & for Marty & his mates for feeding her their sandwiches ( albeit not always voluntarily ;) ) THANK YOU EVERYONE INVOLVED.

The dog trap worked and finally Rosie is reunited with mum. She's extremely thin, but all ok otherwise!

Just heard from Maxine - Rosie has been caught :) :) Further details to follow later.

As Rosie has visited the site a few times, we are going to set up a trap to try & catch her, it looks like she has been scavenging on food left by builders & she may have been sleeping in the toilet block which is currently unused, as there seems to be a 'nest' made there out of towels which were left down to stop water coming under the door.

There have been reported sightings at Trewan Hall, St Columb too. Have emailed a photo of the dog thought to be Rosie to owner & will ring her tomorrow to follow up

Apparently Rosie has been spotted by her owner today in fields at Talskiddy near St Columb. Hoping she will stay in area long enough to set up a feeding station.

I`ve seen one or two mentions on using drones , not sure if it would help.

Its so rural round there to if I got the right place?

Will reshare with her most recent sighting and tweet again for little Rosie

I hope she is soon caught xx

I have given further advice to Lyn re scenting & setting up a feed station in the area. She will advise neighbours not to feed her, so that she is only going to one place for food. It seems she was rescued by current owner, as she had been on run before for a few months (in a different area). Hopefully once she is visiting regularly, we can get a trap set up.
