- Any signs of an owner ?
- 2017-02-10 18:32 Unknown

- Dear Gilly P - I got my information from Bowsers owner himself. I sent a text to him asking if the found dog could possibly be his boy - I included the 'found dogs' ID number AND a photo of the 'found dog'. He replied
"yes that's definitely my boy - I'm just arranging to pick him up. Thanks very much".
I took his response to be a 'match'.
I knew nothing about Bowsers recent dilemma until I was brought up to speed by someone on here.
I was confused yesterday - but today I can see what went wrong. Bowsers owner didn't check the details I sent him for the 'found' dog - and clearly didn't view the picture I sent. If he had, he would have known it wasn't his Bowser.

- Noooo
- 2017-02-10 15:01 skyninchar
- is this boy reunited then?
- 2017-02-10 14:35 Unknown
- Grand85 you were confused! Me too. Didn't understand the message further down! Hope your lad is home soon. And let's hope this guy gets a chance.

- This isn't my dog, bowser is fawn blue, this dog is a chocolate colour. Ive had my bowser since 6weeks old minus the stint he's been in jail where to the best of my knowledge he still is. Thanks all for letting me know, his owner is still out there! Really confused me as people had been texting me saying he'd been found.... keep up the detective work! - This is not Bowser.
Sydneysmum not sure where your info came from below. - 2017-02-10 13:32 nicolapicola
- Bowser's owner is under the impression Bowser is still in police kennels but have asked her/him to look on here and check this one.
- 2017-02-10 11:54 Unknown
- Did ask how he got to Bedfordshire
- 2017-02-10 11:54 Unknown
- From Bowsers owner.. .
Awaiting for him to be added to the defra index, once that's done then, he'll be released to me. I then have to ensure that he's chipped, neutered and tattooed. But I can't get that done until he's in my care. Will update once he's back. - 2017-02-10 10:32 Unknown
- Gone from SDK pages!!
- 2017-02-10 07:21 Unknown
- Jayelle not sure if he's going to get a second chance.
- 2017-02-09 23:15 BorderCol
- This is crazy, on the SDK website it says Breed to be Determined . IF this really IS Bowser then he has just been locked up for weeks and then went to court on January 23rd to have his breed decided.......but as he does not seem to have been chipped or tattooed, what is to prevent the same circus all over again, possibly with a different outcome?
- 2017-02-09 21:09 Unknown
- Mmm!!!
- 2017-02-09 20:10 BorderCol
- Bowser has white on his chest, a distinctive scar and small growth behind right ear and is described as fawn/ blue.............Last edited: 2017-02-09 20:21:53 by BorderCol

- If we get to know!

- Another of these strange stories that crop up on Doglost from time to time. I suppose wanting to know all the details is just nosiness, but we have to be interested, or the site wouldn't work! So let us know...
- 2017-02-09 17:17 Unknown
- Agreed Mary but we didn't know the outcome.
- 2017-02-09 17:07 Mary
- GillyP It all seems very strange to me. I'm a little surprised he is still entire as I thought he would have been neutered if he was "of type". Perhaps court decided he wasn't. MK45 is a long way from SW16 as you say.
- 2017-02-09 17:04 Unknown
- No mention of Bowser having white back toes. Not sure this is Bowser head looks different. I don't know just hope this one will be safe.
- 2017-02-09 16:54 Unknown
- This is a long way from SW16! And if this is Bowser and he's been to court!!!
- 2017-02-09 16:51 Unknown
- Not sure it's going to be as easy to just 'pick him up'
- 2017-02-09 16:48 Sydneysmum
- I did wonder about the missing chip Mary but didn't feel it was my place to say. And I wasn't aware of Bowsers history. Now I'm confused -Bowsers owner has confirmed that the dog found today IS Bowser - why would he do that?? Please advise
- 2017-02-09 16:34 Sydneysmum
- Sorry Skywalker99 - I cant say for sure. But this Bowser did go missing before Xmas. was there another one that was reunited?
- 2017-02-09 16:33 Mary
- How is it that Bowser still isn't microchipped? The lost report 108138 shows the owner went to court on 23rd January and if they were reunited I would have thought getting him microchipped would have been a priority.
- 2017-02-09 16:25 Skywalker99
- What? The bowser that went missing before Xmas has gone missing again?
- 2017-02-09 16:20 Sydneysmum
- Just received a text from Bowsers owner. He has confirmed that this IS Bowser!! Is arranging to pick him up asap.
- 2017-02-09 15:42 Sydneysmum
