- We lost our Vizsla when she was 6 months old. We found her three days later as a result of someone seeing a DL poster that we had put up in the area. We thought she would travel for miles aimlessly but intact we found her less than 100m from where we last saw her. She was curled up and 'shut down' under a tree. She hadn't reacted to our calling her name but she would certainly have heard us. Apparently this is a trait of the breed, especially when they are really young. If our experience is anything to go by then I'd suggest looking in every nook and cranny local to where you last saw her because she might not respond to calling alone. I hope this helps.
