Presumeneutered? If not may have wanderd out of his area. Check sheds, garages. , greenhouses, empty houses, cellars in case shut in. Check behind hedges/bushes too, as sometimes a cat will hide their if unwell. Put his food into a clen container, and call him; night/.early morning is best. Presume not allowed trrats, if he is then ratle a tin of cat biscuits Put his blanket (Unwashed) into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, along with something with your scent on too. Empty the contents of the vsacuum on to the garden, and his litter tray if he uses one. Wipe his scernt on your garden fences, gates. doors too, anything leading up to the garden. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, Rattle some dreamies if allowed, or try food he is permitted to have. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. The best time to look for him is when it`s dark, and quiet. Also when you do this wear the same depodorant for eg you would wear daily, as he will recognize the scent. Make sure he isn`t `- hiding behind an objmect within any of the outbuildings when searching for him; it can and has happened. Cats are very good at keeping still, and quiet. Poster around the area, and put "Lost" posters through doors too. And ask around. Paws xd.

If neutered he should still be in the area

Sorry to see that MITHRANDIR is missing.

  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
