- wonderful news - and about the microchip - but remember its invisible so a collar and tag is vital too, and means the finder can reunite you immediately

- Thank you for advise I've put her all over Facebook and contacted every organisation I know. Unfortunately there's not much I can do as I stay in belfast bit ill advise my mum the necessary steps to take to find kayla and get her home safe

- Thanks Lindsey - that's a same about the microchip, you obviously know the seriousness of not having one. Think that posters and leaflets through doors may be work best - you need to get word out. I see the Galleon Centre is nearby - talk to people there. If there is a school nearby, kids know a lot of what goes on. Taxi drivers ? You could also set up a facebook page and get shared as much as possible. Also need to watch selling sites on internet, Pets4Homes, Gumtree etc.

- Gilmour street in Kilmarnock. Kayla is not micro chipped I've stressed to my mum in the past to get her chipped and she hasn't. I registered on here for my mum as she doesn't use Internet and doesn't know how to work it
- 2017-02-14 17:57 Sandra Watt
- which street in Kilmarnock did Kayla go missing. Suggest you get posters up in the local area and drop leaflets in letterboxes nearby in case someone has taken her in. You state microchip unknown - why is this?
- 2017-02-14 17:42 Lindsey
- Kayla was let out for toilet and was let back in again she must have sneaked out the front door when my mum left to goto shop. Kayla is very timid and not Street wise she knows her area so think someone has lifted her planning in not returning her
