- I am so glad that you have her home. Bless you both. It is never an easy decision to make & I agree that it seems like Maggie has let you know, the best way she can.

- Wishing her a peaceful journey over Rainbow Bridge. A sad time, but good that she can be put to rest in your arms.

- Milliemaglet, I'm so pleased you have Maggie back to have cuddles with and say a final farewell before taking her to the vet. Well done to the farmer for making it possible.

- Maggie has been found by a farmer and I now have her back. Sadly, she is so poorly that I will be taking her to the vets this afternoon to have her put to rest. Running off is not typical behaviour for her and she is telling me loud and clear that she has had enough. Thanks again. What a great charity you are and I will be keen to join up as a volunteer for my area.

- message from owner...Hi, unbelievably, my elderly collie, Maggie, has gone missing again. She is instinctively being led away from home to die, I think, and has somehow escaped. All details exactly as posted on 14th Feb. Please could you re post as lost using the same photo?
Again, no collar but microchipped. Thin, hungry but unable to eat. I was actually going to have to have her put down today. She's making it very clear that she is ready to go, but it'd be awful to not know what has happened to her.
Sorry about this, and thank you,

- Good news! Maggie has been found soaking and bedraggled 3 miles from home. She'd been out all night in the rainy but thankfully mild weather. A woman took her in this morning. Thanks so much for your help!
