He looks much younger than his 7 years. Make sure you leave doglost a new contact number just in case he is found after you have left for Spain.

well its been awhile now , but i still hold out hope , the problem is now that i am due to move to spain on the 21st of july 08 , so i will give this another try before then, if any body has seen or heard of this dog anywhere in the country , please let us know ,

hi everyone, just a big thanks to all , it is really appriecated, I was called out last night on potential sighting, this was the forest rd area of Bransgore, but after 3 hours of searching through the forest nothing was sighted or heard , my wife and I are really distraught with all this, everything possible is being done and more , time goes by you cant help thinking the worst, once again thanks to everyone concerned.

have spoken to owner who will be contacting penny.have asked to update any news. Owner worried as the epilepsy could come on at any time. Dog is used for hunting should be able to catch food. CJ

Great idea Folly. i have emailed the link to them direct. if anyone else has ideas like this anmd other places that may help then feel free to email them direct- just make a note on the site so we dont all bombard them with the same dog. CJ

Have you thought to contact NewForestDog (NFdog)? They are excellent at circulating this sort of information to all their members who are obviously the most likely people to spot Metz if they are walking their dogs on the forest. The number is 01425 622736, Good luck.

I live in Neacroft (next village) I have seen quite a few posters about for metz. will print a few more off & put on car etc. There is a lady waterditch way who has a few of these. Maybe you should contact her as some one may have thought Metzs was theirs

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Metz well. Stay safe Metz, until we get you home x
