Holmes, from the information given this one would appear to be opportunistic, don't disagree that there are organised gangs out there stealing dogs...

Thank goodness he is home safe....wow the power of social media!
Make sure you never leave your baby out of sight.
I am not convinced these are opportunist thieves Skywalker...a lot more now appear to be planned and police should be watching these folks for their next move ....watching and picking their moment to steal, often from a garden with no CCTV. Owners must be more vigilant and savvy. Some police forces take dog theft very seriously indeed...more can follow these role models. I have seen much thief and I am alarmed by the increase in dog theft....police arrests and law needs to be scaled up to avoid set examples of such prevalence like with do with other types of crimes xx

Never EVER let that gorgeous Arnie out of your sight! There are people that will steal him from you in a heartbeat. You are so lucky....so is Arnie, he has you as his mum!! xx

Keep him close and safe from now on! Beyond me why people think they can help themselves to other people's pets.....and how many opportunistic thieves there are out there.

Thankyou very much. I have put posters up all around the area. My partner will take some of his toys up tomorrow and put them around. The police were informed and said they don't deal with missing dogs. And we can't prove he was taken so at a lose end there. Although a local officer took arnies details and said they would keep and eye out. Cctv in the area has been checked but because it's such a busy trading estate we can't see him anywhere on it. Thanks for everyone's help. I feel like I'm just losing hope. There will be a reward for anyone who returns him no questions asked.

follow the advice from Doglost below, put something that smells of him where he went missing and do scenting, poster EVERYWHERE, and share to every local facebook site you can find, see if there is any cctv you can check, post to facebook sites like lostbox, red alert, harvey's army etc. make sure you have reported to the police.Last edited: 2017-02-19 12:35:24 by Skywalker99

It's possible. He got out through the front door of the offices on car hill industrial estate oporsite the car wash. 5 minutes later my partner realised went out asked the men at the car was they said he had been round then walked over to the empty car park 20 meters away. Then not seen since. As time goes on I think he has been taken. Any advise on what to do ? X
Jane
Could he have been STOLEN? Frenchie theft is one of the hottest dogs at the moment. How did Arnie go missing please?

All Breeders should tell the new doggie parents to be very careful and never let them out of their sight.
