Hi Gnasher, owner and dog have been reunited - have just spoken with the council and they confirmed the warden has found the owner. Great news.

I've shared as well on Dorset Dogs and it's now being shared further.hopefully he is local that'd be awesome. I did wonder whether he'd come out of the houses that back on to the beach but we had a look and couldn't see any opened back gates.

Thanks Hayleye, with a little luck he may even be home if his chip details were up to date but it would be have that confirmed. I'm sure this handsome lad will have had his owner worried.
One of the ladies on one of the shares believes he's local to where found as her dog was playing with what she believes to have been him a couple of days ago x

Thanks Gnasher. When the warden came to get him, he did a swipe and said he was chipped but I'm guessing will need to go and get more information. Fingers crossed details are kept up to date. We'll try and get hold of the warden in a couple of days time to see whether they were able to reunite. We're keeping everything crossed for this little one.

Thank you Hayleye for getting him safe. Sharing via Doglost Dorset & Doglost Hampshire facebook pages amongst others and is being shared amongst the Visla pages. I'm sure his owner will be very worried. Was he not microchipped or were details out of date ?
Please update us as and when you can , it would be nice to hear he gets home safe x

Hi there, I found this dog. He's now with the Dog warden. He is microchipped. A happy little fella-very comfortable around a family. He has 3 small old scars on the top of his head. A good weight on him. If you belong to any Christchurch facebook pages, please share. I'm actively trying to join as many groups to get him reunited but any help appreciated. He was found right near The Noisy Lobster on Avon beach.
