Great news.
Welcome home Alex. X

I grew up in the next village to Horton, find it hard to believe he got to Bury Knowle all by himself....long way and he would have had to cross the a40....

Sighted dog may or may not be Alex as was described as all black but he may be quite dirty by now, people have posted to local FB groups so hopefully more info will come forward soon x

Owner. Needs to leave something that smells of him./them where sighted and some food....if spotted turn your back, sit down, throw treats gently and call him gently, do not look directly at him...doglost should give you more advice.

Karen Oliver: Lisa West I drove along the road a few hundred yards from where he was lost and there he was standing in a gateway! Unfortunately by the time i had parked the car, he had ran off. Owner is there now , but no sign of him. Just pleased he is still in the area, but he is quite nervous. He is also bigger than the photo, more collie / lab size. Please could you give the owner some advice as not sure they are going to be able to catch him without help. I will go out again tomorrow x
