Trace, it might be worth postering again a little further out. Places like Arley sports centre that get people from all over nuneaton there for the footy games on sundays. Local pubs and social clubs. Places like that. Don't loose hope yet my dog murf was missing for ten weeks until i found him in leamington spa and that was all down to posters. If you to need to vent on here it helps and we're great listeners ssLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No definite news for over 2 weeks. Had some Irish idiot ring yesterday about 10 times telling me he had Lucy but he was obviously deranged. He gave his name as Rambo and was saying all kinds of weird things. It really upset me as I thought we had found her but he has obviously got hold of a flyer and takes enjoyment out of this kind of thing. We are still looking but I,m not feeling as positive now as the phone calls have dried up and I,m not sure what direction to go in now. Thanks for the heads up though Dani.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The good news is people are on the look out. Just spoke to my mate who owns a farm in Galley common he already had a flyer and knew all about it. So fingers crossed someone will see or know something xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Goggo and Dani. I,ve been to Rockery numerous times but havent been able to see any of the dogs they have. All farms, shops and residential houses in that area have posters, we,ve also given them to anyone we saw walking that area. I,m not sure whether she has been picked up or moved onto another area as we are not getting any calls now. Will keep a look out for Meg as either my daughter or I still go out looking on a daily basis. Thanks for your support.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Trace, my youngerst goes to Galley Common school so i'll poster there first thing Monday. Also my mate owns the farm just over the back of it so i'll have a word with him this weekend. We all walk the res there everyday so i'll get the word out through my lot. Please go down to the rookery kennels in person. It sounds horrible but it all depends what person is on to what kind of help you get. You might wanna poster the black track as well. Most people walking that lane live around the hartshill/ galley area. I'd poster it for you but i don't walk that way on my own. I really hope you find her soon and if your in the Galley common area please keep a look out for meg another doglost girl who been seen wandering around that area. I'll do what i can and keep my fingers crossed for you. If you need any help let me know through the pm Dani xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I work for the local police and have checked all our found dog books. All our found dogs go to either NCDL at honiley or Blue cross in birmingham. Hope you find her soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for all the nice comments regarding Lucy, we hope and pray she will be home safe soon. Dani, Ive contacted all the people you have mentioned apart from Ian the dog warden. I,ll ring him first thing tomorrow. The sightings have not been confirmed as Lucy but we have had a tremendous response from people who have seen the posters that we have put up. Most of the sightings have been localised in one area, Galley Common near Rockery Kennels, and despite spending hours and hours in the areas people have spotted her we have had no luck in finding her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

U could also try registering with petsearch on 01676540341. The lady who runs it knows the area and dog wardens well. She runs it all from her home and is really is a sweetheart who wants to help. XXXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hey saw your poster in the hardware store the other day. I haven't heard anything about this little one, but here are some numbers you'll need. Rockery kennels (School lane, galley common) 02476392504. Best to go down in person to this one, blag your way in to make sure you see the dogs because they're not always good with descriptions. Witherley Kennels 01827 713295. Again go down in person if you can take a pic. I'm sorry to say that i've had numerous bad experiences with both these kennels runners so just keep ringing and ringing until you make them listen. Atherstone council 01827 715341 have a dog wardern by the name Ian he's great so you can let him know. Nuneaton dog wardens are not helpful but you might as well them a line. What sightings have you had is she still roaming or were the sightings with somebody? Fingers crossed for you Dani xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
