- GillyP thank you for your answer I asked as I only hear bad things about SDK & this dog obviously needed to see a vet. I am still shocked that it has gone back to its owner the poor little thing.

- I wish we coukd get an update, that skin looks raw,I went tonthe SDK website to get a bigger picture and to very honest I'm quite shocked they just handed him back into his sad little neglected life,to top it all he wasn't microchipped which is the law!!!.Just can't get him out of my mind

- This dog must be so uncomfortable I hope his skin problem will be sorted out soon. I too agree Bdurrant. This is neglect. I used to walk a dog for a lady in her 90`s who made sure that her dog was ok in everyway; grooming, checking for mites etc. IF for some reason the owner was unable to take care of the dog. maybe a family member should have stepped in to help the elderly owner Keep us posted on the dogs condition pleaseLast edited: 2017-02-28 20:12:53

- discussion with finder it was also mentioned that rspca advice is needed for the elderly owner & granddaughter, as she was collecting the dog on her gran's behalf. Vet described as bald Yorkshire terrier, although searches were done for crested cross when the found post went online. Last edited: 2017-02-28 13:39:09 by Polly

- Absolutely agree bdurrant. Returning this little dog to its owners is not a cause for celebration. This is prolonged neglect and doesn't happen overnight. So sad.
- 2017-02-28 11:16 bdurrant
- That is terrible, how is that good that he is reunited with owner when they didn't microchip him and let him suffer like that
