Today's listing for found lab retriever mentions it was seen running with a collie near Gainsborough. Is this too far away from where Ben went missing for it to be him? No mention of sex or colouring of the collie.

hull daily mail are fantastic they were so supportive towards me and ran three stories for me and tyson the last one been the happy ending x

I have done a feature for the Hull Daily Mail on all three of the missing dogs from the area and sent pic and story of Ben to be included.

BC thanks, when talking to Ben's owner they described him as typical, I agree when I seen the picture today thought Ben is very distinctive and not a typical marked BC. I do not use of the telephone while in work, so am limited to speaking to owners in the evening or weekends, as we needed the photo urgently I took a chance using the phone in work. Owner did also say they would register and update helpers, hopefully they will do soon. Jan x

Majorjet, if a number wont take witheld calls, just put 1470 in front of the number you are calling, that will un-withold it

Is this a proper picture of Ben, just reading majorets post that Ben is a typically marked Border Collie, I wouldnt say this dog was typically marked????

Have you contacted Dave Middleton dog warden 300 300 he was very good with me.I also contacted the community wardens and they sent an e-mail to all their offices to ask all wardens to keep an eye out aswellxx

Have recieved the e-mail of Ben i dont have a printer yet so carn't pull any posters of to put up as yet,but will keep an eye out for Ben.If you have some posters can i suggest you ,friends and family display them in your cars,i lost my dog round about that time so i know how you feel the good news through doglost and the determination of BC i got him back so dont give up xx

Spoken to owner, who is going to register. Photo will be sent a.s.a.p. but do need help scanning etc. They feel Ben may have been taken as he is not prone to wander and was on their own farmland. He is a typical marked long coated BC, with upright ears, he has one brown eye and one blue eye. The right authorities have been notified and posters have been getting displayed.
